   I liked it at first because it was near a lot of facilities, but the sound pollution is terrible, despite staying at the top floor. There will be people blasting music from their cars during wee hours in the morning at the KFC car park. One time, they blasted music so loud, it shook the entire apartment unit until 4am in the morning. Very hard to sleep. It also feels unsafe to stay in during the winter as the winds will shake the walls of the apartment unit. Towards the end of my stay, a huge worm dropped from my ceiling vent. The vent was right above my bed. I was staying on the highest floor, but there were still a lot of pests during the summer.

   Quite large for an apartment, comparable to a small house. Good views and build quality - soundproof, high ceilings, double glazing, hardwood floor, good air ventilation, etc. Excellent location - close walking distance to mall, cinema, gym/pool and bus station (25mins to CBD via NX1/2). The layout is also quite sparse. So you have your own space and rarely run into people. We live on the top floor in one of the larger north facing units. Don't have any issues with noise, smells, or cold weather. During my 25 years living in 7 different houses across Auckland, this is the quietest and warmest home! I believe the negative reviews are based on the smaller (1 bed) units on lower floors as they're probably more susceptible to noise. Also, the south facing units get (a lot) less sun, so I'd expect them to be colder. Calling this the worst apartment in Auckland is inaccurate and disingenuous. We tried multiple apartments across Albany, Takapuna, and Newmarket; OKLA was strongly preferable.

   Worst apartment in Albany/Auckland. No concrete between shared walls (worst design and quality ever in Albany/Auckland). Noise everywhere. The smell of KFC from downstairs. Don’t waste your time and money here.

   TL;DR; Noise everywhere Good things: * single bedroom unit that comes with the storage room is quite spacious. * balconies are huge (11 sqm) and living room combined with the kitchen is ‘enough’ for a couple Bad things: * you can hear people walking in the apartment above. I'm not even mentioning running or jumping. * you can hear people snoring in the bedroom next to yours * you can hear people talking on balconies around you and it’s quite loud * when someone runs, walks or just talks in the corridor you can almost hear them as they are at your place * it’s quite cold during winter time. AC turned on is a must * windows are all wet after the night I was a tenant for 6 months, 09.01.2021 - 08.07.2021
