“Wandered in after browsing around the market today. Never been here before, but will definitely be going back again next time we’re out this way. The food was fabulous. Loved our meals; cheese omelette, mushroom croque and beef dish. Coffee was full-bodied. Big pot of tea for my mother in law (made her very happy) and the banana milkshake was fresh and yummy. Service was faultless. The couple on the table next to us were “complimentary regulars”. Perfect experience, thank you. 10/10 :-)”
“Perfect spot to fill in an hour between meetings. Berry Danish was perfect: perfect pastry, not too sweet. Steak pie also had real chunks of steak in it. Will be a regular spot.”
“These guys are the bomb need any basic stuff go here. Cheers team Tripoli”
“For a small 'fast food' sushi store, this one is my favorite. A bit pricey, but the quality, size, and flavour of their sushi definitely makes up for it. This place is now one of my favs!!!!”
“Lovely pies and sandwiches, great drink selection, the hot foods are also good and great value. Friendly staff and great service.”
“Love this place. Best selection of everyday goods, staff are so friendly and helpful. No better dairy around”
“A hidden gem! The service was warm and attentive, and the food—absolutely exquisite. Hands down, the best kebab meals we’ve ever tasted. Every bite was packed with flavour, and the presentation was just as impressive. Highly recommend.”
“I went with my partner, and we ordered Chicken Karaage and Chicken Nanban Don. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The portion size is generous for the price. It’s brilliant to find a place like this, as it’s quite rare in the CBD. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, this is definitely a place to visit. I’d recommend it and will certainly return. Oh, and they also include miso soup!”
“Love coming here to grab fruit and veges! So much cheaper and usually better quality than supermarket. We lived off the strawberries and blueberries during summer! They also sell sourdough bread which is a little pricey but very worth the price! We get it as a treat!”
“Found a dumpling spot at Auckland Airport’s international terminal. Ordered chicken porridge to hold us over until our flight arrives. Looking forward to some comfort food.”
“Found them open on Christmas Day, thank you very much!! Delicious mocha and banana bread. Very sweet staff.”
“It's a quaint little area with a small space to hang out with the cats, but what it lacks in flair it makes up for in cats. They're very happy and friendly, one of them even made the jump up to sit on my shoulders. Highly recommend”
“I had the distinct pleasure of eating at Di Vino Bistro for the first time. It was a most wonderful experience, the service was amazing, the food incredible and the price very reasonable.”
“Delicious food (both from the kitchen and the cabinet) and drinks, and friendly and welcoming service. It's a quiet place to do your work, and there's plenty of parking space. Definitely recommend and would come back again!”
“The staff here are what truly make this place shine. So friendly, so accommodating and genuinely lovely human beings. The owner even came out of the cafe to help two older people out of their car and he walked them to their seat inside. Absolutely amazing and would definitely come back!!”
“Strong and Nice Cold brew coffee Salmon cuiche was nice Wahyu beef and cheese pie was delicious!!!”
“First time visiting this place while in town, and I’m so glad I did! The smoothies were incredibly delicious, probably the best I’ve had in a long time. The cheese scones were just as amazing, perfectly fresh, and flavorful. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!”
“Wanted to try Tob Coffee as heard there's always a queue. It's a busy place with a great vibe. Service is quick and efficient, and staff is very friendly. Purchased beans, Vietnamese latte and Mocha. Enjoyed the experience and great coffee. Will visit again.”
“Great Indian grocery store with a wide variety of authentic products! Everything was well-organized, and we found all the essentials we needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for all your Indian grocery needs!”
“Very nice shop and also very nice people thank you Zakaria very good service brother”
“I tried out the great new kitchen in Anastasis Coffee Roasters. It’s an interesting mix of Chinese/ Taiwanese, Mexican and American street food with baos, birria, fried chicken and churros on the menu. I had forgotten how good baos were and these got me back hooked with great flavours and textures. The tacos are as good as any other birria tacos I've tasted in Auckland and the fried chicken had just the right amount of spice kick and comes with dipping sauce. There's some seating inside and an outdoor area outback with string lighting. Great vibe. They are also looking to get a liquor license and other offerings in the future. The current kitchen hours different to the coffee store openings are Wednesday 11am-2pm and Thursday to Saturday 11am - 2pm, 5pm - 9pm. Definitely worth stopping by and trying out.”
“Awesome coffee, wonderful team.”
“Wandered past here today and noticed the decor was really funky so popped our head in for a look. The lady was so friendly that we decided to stay for a cheeky early drink. Then had a second as was such a cool spot. Will be great when the CRL work is finished and everyone can spot this place behind the construction fences. We will definitely come back when we’re next in town.”
“Really understated cafe and we saw of just stumbled across it this morning. They have three different coffee beans to choose from which works a lot better than the 10 different coffee types to drink (which all kinda taste the same). The coffee is amazing! My partner had a mocha which he said was the best coffee he'd had all year. I had a cappuccino which was perfection. There's a few options for food from the cabinet but it's just what's in the cabinet, which was fine. When we were there, they had filled bagels, filled croissants and a few sweet treats. We shared a salmon bagel and a ham bagel and they both were really good. The combination worked well and ours was toasted to perfection. So really, a winning breakfast for feeling miserable days! The backroom was something grand! When you walk in, there's all these musical instruments to play on (a few needing tuning) but there were percussion instruments, wind instruments, guitars, ukulele, and things I dont know the name of! They were also stacks of those old lead based books, along with paperbacks. So many different styles of writing and all inviting. Peculiar items like chess boards ( you have to see it to understand its peculiarity) and niknaks too. The service was very friendly and kind! The cafe doesn't look like it has it's own allocated parking but there was plenty of street parking.”
“I came here shortly after it opened this morning, so there wasn't anyone else here, but I loved it here. The staff are so kind, the vibe is great and the food and coffee hit the spot. I got a double shot mocha and eggs beni with salmon, and I enjoyed it very much. I will come back here again soon!”
“Rotana is hands down one of the best restaurants in Auckland. The food is consistently incredible — full of flavour, fresh, and always beautifully presented. Their shisha is easily some of the best you’ll find, and the staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Every visit feels like a taste of home and a reminder of true Middle Eastern hospitality. Highly recommend!”
“We had such a great experience at Café Fiesta! The moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly. Our food came quickly. Great coffee, delicious food, and a place where you can actually relax — we’ll definitely be back!”
“We came here three times during our stay in Auckland, and each time the food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and homey, and the owner was so sweet and welcoming. Dreamers is a neighborhood gem.”
“Lovely people just lovely and the best prices around. I buy 2x Korean Soju for $15. Other shops charge $11-$12 each.”
“We found this amazing place, one of our favorite Korean food is Gamja-tang. Their Gamja-tang is worth every bite and money we paid for. Kudos to the owner, he is very kind, friendly and all the staff are very attentive, checking customer's need. We are so glad and happy customers, we could not stop talking about this hidden jem!!! Great experience, awesome traditional and authentic food, cherry on top, the service is genuine and more worthy than fine dine in. They try to explain the ingredients and dish specially for non-Korean. Will definitely come back here at FRIENDS, Highly recommended, this totally stood out among nearby korean resto around!!!”
