“I had an amazing experience at Everest Dine Restaurant, and I want to specially appreciate Pawan for his excellent service. The momos were absolutely delicious—perfectly steamed, juicy, and full of authentic Nepali flavour. The Nepali Thali was outstanding as well, with a great variety of dishes, balanced spices, and a truly homely taste. Pawan was extremely polite, attentive, and made sure we enjoyed our meal. His warm hospitality added so much to the overall dining experience. Highly recommend Everest Dine for anyone looking for genuine Nepali food and great service. Will definitely be visiting again!”

“My 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Drawing & Sketching class (Tue 3:45-5:15) with Maree. Learning to depict objects with pencil sketching added a technical dimension to her artistic skills. It was a great class for a 9-year-old who loves drawing, providing more advanced content rather than simplistic children's drawings. This class is highly recommended for kids who love drawing and want to boost their skills.”

“I tried out the great new kitchen in Anastasis Coffee Roasters. It’s an interesting mix of Chinese/ Taiwanese, Mexican and American street food with baos, birria, fried chicken and churros on the menu. I had forgotten how good baos were and these got me back hooked with great flavours and textures. The tacos are as good as any other birria tacos I've tasted in Auckland and the fried chicken had just the right amount of spice kick and comes with dipping sauce. There's some seating inside and an outdoor area outback with string lighting. Great vibe. They are also looking to get a liquor license and other offerings in the future. The current kitchen hours different to the coffee store openings are Wednesday 11am-2pm and Thursday to Saturday 11am - 2pm, 5pm - 9pm. Definitely worth stopping by and trying out.”

The coffee was brewed with a traditional phin filter, which I appreciated, though the overall flavor didn’t quite come together for me. “My fourth visit here, this time with family to try the spring menu. We had the pear and honey special with focaccia, lamb shoulder pappardelle and the cacio e pepe. Everything was so yum, but the pappardelle was the standout for me. The staff were, as always, warm and helpful with great recommendations from the specials and wine menu. Always a great experience, and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s on the next seasonal menu!”

He found some recommendations, I ordered, and the bottles were delivered the next day which also happened to be Monday, Queen's Birthday. So much to choose from, but of course I had to give the classic eggs benny a go, it def didn’t end up classic at all! Perfectly poached eggs on a herb hash brown, delicious sauces. I recently brought my parents for the first time here, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service, professional and like a well-oiled machine, only adds to the charm. We indulged in the Leek and Potato Soup, Capresina, Spaghetti Alle Vongole, Tiramisu, and Tiramisu Eclair. The Spaghetti Alle Vongole was a revelation—fresh pasta, perfectly cooked clams, and a symphony of flavours that made it the best I’ve ever had. To top it off, their Tiramisu is flawless.
