Uxbridge Arts & Culture is a wonderful local attraction in Howick. They provide a diverse range of classes, from many forms of art, exercise and add live cultural performances, and exhibitions in the gallery. There is also a splendid cafe which has delicious food and an eclectic atmosphere with its period furniture. This modern, we'll appointed facility is well worth a visit in Uxbridge Road. HOWICK.
My 9-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Drawing & Sketching class (Tue 3:45-5:15) with Maree. Learning to depict objects with pencil sketching added a technical dimension to her artistic skills. It was a great class for a 9-year-old who loves drawing, providing more advanced content rather than simplistic children's drawings. This class is highly recommended for kids who love drawing and want to boost their skills.
Really enjoyed the acrylic paint pouring workshop last weekend. We all created two unique pieces and received in depth info on materials etc that work best, so we could give it a go at home too. The instructor was welcoming and very helpful. Relaxed atmosphere in a spacious workshop room with lots of art on the wall to admire, great workshop location!
The Acrylic Paint Pouring was my first workshop at Uxbridge. The class sizes were perfect, plenty of space at the table and to move around the room. The length of time was just right too. Excellent teacher with lots of knowledge to share about the products, methods and was happy to answer any questions we had. Thoroughly loved the class and will certainly be back. Well done!!
My friend and I absolutely loved attending the leadlighting workshop! Neil was the most fun, helpful, and patient teacher ever! Thanks to him, and the course providing all the materials, we all went home with super cute pieces! We are already planning new courses to attend, to make and learn more cool stuff! :)
Children loved the activities her! The Center offers delightful environment and art design experiences, the cafe offers a wonderful selection of nice and healthy fooid, keto is available here. which is a cherry on top of the already pleasant environment.
