My partner and I are regulars at this cafe and for good reason. It’s our absolute favourite spot for brunch. Their Eggs Benedict is consistently perfect, specifically the fried chicken version which is next level. The chicken is crispy, full of flavour and served on scallion pancakes, which adds a unique and delicious twist. The hollandaise sauce is flawless. We honestly have no notes. On top of that, the coffee is always high quality and consistently great. We recommend this place to everyone. Best Eggs Benedict in the whole of New Zealand!
Food was great. Affordable for the area. Eggs were cooked great and sausages and mushrooms were lovely. Great coffee too. Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was great as on a busy day in the area these guys had quite a few seats available. Would recommend!
Absolutely lovely spot, I've been living in london for the past 6 years, and today my mother brought me here for breakfast. I can say without a doubt that this was one of the best and most creative breakfasts I've had in a long time. The quality of the food was next to none, and the staff were friendly and incredibly polite. Calm atmosphere and modern, with a simplistic design. Don't sleep on it, go for breakfast, you won't be disappointed!
Got the Beam Chicken Benedict. It was a great portion size (not too much, not too little)! The chicken was tender and moist, eggs poached perfectly and the spring onion pancake was a tasty refreshing twist on the typical eggs benny! Coffee was great too. Service was warm, friendly, inviting and prompt. Highly recommend!
Lovely staff, very friendly and attentive. Great coffee and a delicious breakfast. My boy loved his mango smoothie! Relaxed and warm atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back.

Babies, babies, babies. Being in a schooling area, the seats and sounds of the establishment are filled with babies toiling away, exploring the new world that they find themselves in. Some may find this uncomfortable or disruptive, but this was just emblematic of the wonderful community spirit that Beam Cafe provides for it's local area. The staff are some of the friendliest in the country, and the food an excellent pairing to the exquisite coffee that is offered at this coffee house. Even as I write this, a patron sitting opposite me, once getting his delicious caffeinated extraction served to him, immediately asked for another of the same. He knows he will enjoy it so why not just indulge in another. And I shall watch with great satisfaction as yet another patron is served by this incredible business. Love the pug mural.
Excellent café! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, excellent portions and quality for a fair price. Good coffee to boot.
