“A nice little takeaway serving freshly cooked Indian food and snacks. The menu items are limited which makes the choice of items very easy. The food is kept in heated display units which makes it easier to order and choose from. Taste is nice and balanced in terms of spices. The staff are nice and helpful too. Prices are reasonable and genuine. A couple of seating stools are inside the takeaway for a quick bite. Very nice experience overall.”

“I had an unforgettable experience at Bombay Kitchen in Auckland! I tried the Masala Chicken and Naan, and both were absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The spices were spot on, and the naan was fresh, soft, and delicious. But what made this visit truly special was the atmosphere. I sang a Hindi song for the kitchen staff, and they joined in! We all sang together and had such a great time—it felt like a real celebration of food, culture, and connection. Not only does Bombay Kitchen serve incredible Indian food, but they also have the kindest and most welcoming staff. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and even better vibes, this is it! “Very impressed! Very busy with locals, truckies and tradies, always a sign of good food and service. A real value for money place to either stop and eat or pick up yummy, tasty cabinet food. Keep an eye out on the main road for it, especially if you have the kids with you. Good old icecreams and milkshakes too. Spotlessly clean, as are the toilets.”

“Great atmosphere. Food is really delicious. The only reason for 4 stars is that the steak was a little bit over cooked, but luckily still pink. The stuffed chicken was fantastic, the peppercorn sauce the star of the show! Friendly staff and prompt service. Great restaurant with good variety. Today, I couldn't fault anything. And the 2 girls that served us were SO amazing!! It felt like home! Thank you so much!”

“My sister and I decided to try Fu Lin Kitchen on a whim, we arrived 30 minutes before closing time but the lovely woman let us order what we wanted and the food arrived promptly. I had the beef brisket on rice and cucumber salad, while my sisters had sweet and sour chicken on rice and lemon chicken on rice. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, including my two year old who shared my beef brisket on rice with me. Cooked to perfection. Would definitely come back here again.”

“Authentic food, excellent decor, and great service. Sunny Town makes their dumplings fresh and in the open where you can observe. They also have an open kitchen. The food is delicious, with the perfect mix of spices. Definitely order the steamed dumpling, pork or vegetables as both are yummy. The spicy dumplings are not for everyone, but our daughter loved them. We loved the bamboo interior with comfortable seats. The service is prompt and friendly.”

“Great food, felt like I was back in the Middle East. Loads of food in a eat all you can buffet.for $30. Food was fresh and tasty, was very busy but they squeezed us in on a Saturday night. It's an eat and go type place, you godforsaken the food rather than the atmosphere. Would recommend for those who love Lebanese.”

Overall just a nice semi-rural down-to-earth welcoming vibe and I now have a cafe to visit whenever I'm in Waimauku with time to stop by.”
