Fantastic service from Junil and Deepat. Food very well prepared and presented. Nice open space, atmosphere and decor and the food was amazing. Well done to the staff and chefs.

I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great dining spot with beautiful views of the Auckland Harbour, away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD. The food is well priced, nicely prepared, and the service is friendly and attentive. I suggest trying their fish of the day, salmon, or beef steak, and pairing it with one of their fresh salads. The kumara fries drizzled with cheese are a must-try side β€” especially when combined with their warm focaccia bread. Overall, a lovely spot for a relaxing meal with great food, good service, and a fantastic view.

We reserved table #58 - best table in spring due to sunset. Our food was amazing - scallops to start, market fish and steak as mains. Staff were informative and attentive - what more could you ask for???

Food here was absolutely delicious probably the best oysters I have ever had. And I've had a few. The fish was lovely too. Sat over looking the harbour was lovely. The staff were very attentive and easy to talk to. I would recommend coming here it is pricey but worth it.

The service at fish was absolutely appalling, it is outrageous that we had to wait more than 5 minutes for someone to attend to us while we stood at the entrance. We had mussels and crab cakes as an entree, the mussels were quite tough, on the other hand the crab cakes were delicious. For our mains we ordered the steak, fish and the duck. The fish was average but extremely light. The duck lacked flavour but was chewable. Thankfully the steak was extraordinary. This was not what we expected from fish as we have previously dined at fish. Unlike this lunch we enjoyed our past experience heavily.

My husband and I went to FISH Restaurant for my birthday because it's connected to the Hilton brand, and we thought it would be a fancy place to eat. Making a reservation was easy, and the view was really nice. But after that, things went downhill. Even though the place wasn't busy, we had to wait 45 minutes just to get drinks. My husband had to go and ask the staff to serve us. We kept waiting for everything, and lunch ended up taking nearly three hours. The food was just okay, which was frustrating because we had to wait so long for it. Also, my husband's Diet Coke was only half full because they said they were making space for ice. It was a small thing, but it showed us they weren't really paying attention. Given how expensive everything was, it didn't feel like good value for the money. In the end, the restaurant didn't live up to what we expected from a Hilton place. The nice view couldn't make up for the bad service and lack of care. We won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it. If you're looking for a dining experience that's up to Hilton standards, I'd say try somewhere else.

I had high hopes for FISH Restaurant, given its association with the prestigious Hilton brand. My wife and I chose to celebrate her birthday lunch there, lured by promises of top-notch service, great food, and a stunning view. While the reservation process was smooth and the view lived up to its reputation, the experience quickly soured. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited an agonizing 45 minutes just to get drinksβ€”something I had to personally request from the staff. And the delays didn't stop there; our lunch extended to nearly three hours due to the excessive wait for each course. While the food was decent, the serviceβ€”or lack thereofβ€”rendered it almost irrelevant. To add insult to injury, even a simple order like Diet Coke was delivered half full to "make room for ice," a detail that might seem minor but significantly detracted from the overall experience. Considering the hefty bill, the value for money was severely lacking. In summary, FISH Restaurant failed to deliver on almost every front. The breathtaking view was no compensation for the glaring issues in service and attention to detail. I can't recommend this place and have no intentions of returning. If you're expecting a Hilton-level dining experience, you'll need to look elsewhere.

Very delightful dinner, great service and atmosphere. We had the taste of fish set menu at $110 per person, it was worth of it! Will definitely back.

Best octopus I've ever had. The crayfish is incredible and the team at Fish even put together a plate to celebrate our anniversary
