Absolutely love everything about the McCallion-Hester dance academy, having danced since i was very little, Irish dancing was one huge thing i missed when moving overseas,I recently moved from Australia to New Zealand where i lived for many years and never really found an adult Irish dance classes that had the expertise and professionalism that these guys have here in Auckland!! The standard is incredible and the opportunities are endless, from beginners through to advanced and everything in-between they have it all covered! I would highly recommend giving it ago, whether it be for fun, fitness, to meet new people or as a previous dancer wanting to get back into it, this is definitely the place to go!!! Maire and Sean are so welcoming, enthusiastic and have the patients of a saint!! Amazing job guys, so glad i found you in Auckland!!!!!β

βI visited a couple of times during my stay in Newmarket. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I canβt fault the value β a day pass was very affordable at NZD $11 (around Β£6 for me). Please note that this review is intended as constructive feedback and does not reflect my overall positive experience of visiting. The changing rooms felt a little run down, and a spin dryer for swimsuits would have been useful. The pool itself was a great length, though I did experience a strong chlorine reaction in my eyes. The sauna was more like a saunarium, while the steam room was excellent it was spacious, consistently producing great steam, and one of the best Iβve been to. That said, it could have been cleaned more thoroughly but maybe it was the time of day i entered, and the ceiling may need replacing at some point. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here, especially the 50m pool the first Iβve come across. Many thanks.β

βMy two kids started swimming at Swimsation Te Atatu Peninsula in April 2024. They had very limited skills when they started (way below their school age level). With the support of the great teachers they learnt so much in just a few months that now they are swimming beyond their school age level. The staff is kind and accomodating, we managed to catch up with our make up classes every time we had one missed class. Thank you! Keep up the good work, you guys are great!β
