Our experience with this centre was very disappointing. We were suddenly told our toddlerโs enrolment would be ended, with no warning, no support plan, and very little effort to work with us. The centre suggested that daycare was too overwhelming for our child and recommended moving to home-based care instead of offering meaningful support. Communication felt poor, and behaviour concerns didnโt seem to be handled consistently across children. We moved to home-based care out of urgency, but it didnโt meet our childโs needs. We later decided to transfer back to a daycare setting, and we couldnโt be happier with how well our child is now doing. The support and communication we are receiving have made a world of difference, and our child is finally thriving in an environment that understands and supports him.

I spent a lot of time looking around many daycares across the Shore, and this one is by far the best. My son has been here for two years now and is absolutely thriving. The teachers are wonderful, highly educated, and genuinely care for the children as if they were their own. His learning and development have come so far, and the environment is always warm, safe, and engaging. The food is great too, which is a huge bonus! Couldnโt recommend this daycare more.

My son Elijah went to TLS, in the beginning i was anxious sending him as first time to attend daycare, but the team was so welcoming and very supportive of him since day 1, So my Elijah settled in quickly and all my worries just went off. We were part of the TLS whanau for seven years. Both our boys and us grew up together with them. Throughout our years there, we felt supported and like they were genuinely invested in our boys wellbeing and development. The boys thrived in the large outdoors areas and plentiful opportunities to engage in self led play, with ability to interact with provocations or explore for themselves. We couldn't recommend TLS more highly.

This is my placement centre. the most perfect one in my heart, truly embodying the principles of Te Whฤriki and Pikler . When youโre here, you can feel that every teacher is joyful, gentle, and patient, genuinely respecting and listening to the childrenโs needs. In this loving environment, the children become independent and caring toward one another. I have learned so much here.

My daughter absolutely thrives at this daycare. Beautiful spaces for the children to play and interact. The Pipi team (Sumin, Frankie & Jess) are the most loving teachers. Their dedication to your child is incredible. I'm so sad to leave.

My son attended this daycare for a few months, but we had to move overseas. We were so disappointed that Archer could no longer attend this daycare. He adores the caregivers and learnt so much in his time there. We would put him back in this daycare again, without question, and plan to when we return home

TLS is a respectful, caring centre and our son loves it here. He's been at TLS for about 2 years and right from the very beginning I could tell this centre was special. We are kept up to date with his daily activities and how he's progressing on his learning journey. Very highly recommended.

This is a fantastic day-care, my daughter has been going there for two and a half years and I am really happy with the staff and the centre. I did my research and visited all of the daycare's in Takapuna before deciding on TLS and have not regretted my decision. I was really impressed with the settling in period initially and the fact that they always have primary carers making the transition to the different rooms as she has grown seemless. She has bonded really well with all of the teachers and they are all so great with the children and parents. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this centre.
