We started swimming lessons at Swimsation for both our daughters at the beginning of this year, and we’ve been genuinely blown away by how much progress they’ve made in such a short time. They’re now into their second term, and the improvement just keeps going. The teachers are amazing — super committed, really focused on technique, but also friendly and encouraging. You can tell they really care about the kids and want them to do well. The management has done a great job creating a really warm, community feel. It’s so nice to have something like this right here on the Peninsula — we’re really grateful to have a local option that’s this good. Also, the reception staff are always lovely and on to it, super helpful and friendly every time we go in. We’ve had such a great experience with Swimsation and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for swim classes for their kids.
We’ve been taking our son to Swimsation TeAtutu since he was a baby, and he just loves it. He’s nearly 7 now, and his swimming skills have completely blown me out of the water ;-) The teachers are so patient and genuinely care about the kids and know their names (even seeing old teachers in passing). They make learning fun while still challenging them. It’s been amazing to watch him grow in the water. He’s confident and loves going to lessons. It feels like they really take the time to understand each child’s pace and make sure they get the most out of every class. I’m so grateful for the positive experience we’ve had here and just started my second boy in the baby lessons. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a swim school that actually delivers!
My two kids started swimming at Swimsation Te Atatu Peninsula in April 2024. They had very limited skills when they started (way below their school age level). With the support of the great teachers they learnt so much in just a few months that now they are swimming beyond their school age level. The staff is kind and accomodating, we managed to catch up with our make up classes every time we had one missed class. Thank you! Keep up the good work, you guys are great!
My daughter and niece went swimming here for school and commented the instructors were so rough with the kids and very rude splashing kids faces when they were not wearing goggles, which made a few students upset. Unfortunately parents weren’t allowed to watch kids swim, I really wish I could’ve watched to witness this myself and confront them of their unprofessional behaviour. Unacceptable do not recommend this service from this swim school. If you don’t want to be swimming instructors FOR KIDS then find another job! Simple.
My son (3) has had the best time and is so proud of the things he has learnt there!
My kids and i always look forward to our weekly lessons. The teachers and staff are welcoming, helpful and most importantly mindful of each childs abilities and cater to suit.
Excellent swimming coaches and staff would definitely recommend Swimsation to everyone . Thank you swimsation you guys are amazing we appreciate the time you put in to teach our kids valuable life skill, I have confidence and feel safe with my daughter when we are around water which she loves the most .
The teachers ate great, it's the desk staff and management team that ruins it. It's a 30 mins class but the scheduling is so awful that you run around looking for the class. You can ask the desk staff 15mins before class starts, but they will tell you one location and the actual class starts somewhere else. Its beyond frustrating. Even after the term has started, the loacation changes.... and they don't tell you. Happy to take your money for a 30min class... you will be lucky if you can find the class to begin with. The desk staff is awful.
