“Titoki Montessori Preschool has provided a fantastic foundation for both our children. Our older son attended from age 3 to 6, and our daughter is currently a student, having started at age 3 as well. We were unsure at first about the 3-year program but found that the final year at Titoki is especially critical, as the 5-year-olds become leaders for the younger children, which builds their confidence and fosters a sense of responsibility. We felt our son had the chance to learn and develop more during his last year at Titoki than he would have if he had gone to primary school at 5. Our son transitioned seamlessly into primary school at age 6 and was ahead of the primary school curriculum. Both our kids have received an incredible foundation at Titoki, with amazing teachers and exceptional learning materials, Titoki has everything in place for children to develop, while providing a great sense of community. Both of our kids have been very happy there and have enjoyed the learning process immensely. Titoki is an excellent example of the results achievable with the Montessori method.”
“The TRSS Kindergarten is a very special place. Our daughter's teachers model deep listening with patience and tenderness. Working with rhythms of the day and the week, and seasonal cycles of the year, they support our children in forming a deep relationship to nature, and in the process discover who they are and their place in the world. We can only hope that all children experience the healing effect of being truly listened to and nurtured in this way.”
“I work here. Highly recommended school”
“Uses include rental of the fields once a week. Suitable for large age range with running water provided. Watch for metal pins holding up wooden railway sleepers, very dangerous and random in tree areas of the main rugby/soccer pitch.”
“Best kindy in the area. Amazing environment with lots of natural and open ended resources. Excellent teachers, fully committed to their job and who are always trying to bring the best out of all children.”
“WONDERFUL! AMAZING! SPECTACULAR!”
“Friendly teachers, good leadership, nice family feel and culture. Our kids are very happy at this school.”
“I can't really say what the school is like now as it has been 7 years since I last attended it, but I can definitely say that I have good memories of this school. The teachers here cared about their students and encouraged them to try their hardest. They helped you when you needed help, and most of all they encouraged you to be creative. Academically, this school prepared me well for intermediate school, (though I should warn that that the academic gap between intermediate school and college is slightly larger). One thing I would have liked is for there to have been more extracurricular activities (not just sport teams) for students. But then again with this school being a primary school there are limitations. I have no regrets choosing to go to this school (yes, it was my choice), and I am grateful for having such a warm and memorable time here in Marshall Laing.”

“Lovely rural school with great facilities including a swimming pool. Kind, welcoming teachers.”
“There is a little shop associated with the school where organic produce (fruit, vegetables, eggs, spices, milk etc) are available for sale to the public. Some of this is produced on site as they are located on a block of farming land.”
“Grand daughter loves this school”
“I am very very happy with my child's quality of education and experience at the school. My child is of a short stature (has a condition called dwarfism). I have prayed for a school where kindness abounds and where her love and faith to our Lord Jesus Christ will grow. It was an answered prayer. I asked her once to rate on how much she enjoys going to school every day to which she replied 9/10. On her own words, she withheld the "one point" because she is still looking forward to seeing us at the end of the day.The one point is for you mum she said :-)”
