Just stayed for one night and the service provided was top notch. We had reached the hotel and asked for food at 9.30pm but the buffet closes at 9pm. However, Chef Ming catered to us no matter the time. delicious food, amazing service, one of the best staff service ever experienced. 100% Recommend and definitely will return.
Good location. From the airport, it is a 10 mins drive by car, or one can take either the Yellow Bus (Airport Hotels bus) or the Auckland local transport bus #38 to reach the hotel. Smooth check-in, good breakfast & cooperative staff as well.
The best holiday inn I have stayed at. My favorite hotel chain in North America is Holiday Inn Express. But this Holiday Inn was just so beautiful. The courtyard was fantastic and we felt like we were an all inclusive resort. Staff were so helpful and kind. We only stayed for 1 day before our flight, but what a nice way to end the vacation, wish we had of known it was soooo nice we would have stayed longer. We highly recommend
The rooms are lovely for the price: Bedding was lovely (Including the options for pillow hardness being right there), the shower head was loose when we arrived but it was fixed promptly, sky digital on the tv's, great air conditioning. The suites have a microwave but the standard rooms just have the traditional kettle+mini-fridge. The conference spaces work well and if you need them they have AV systems, although there were some issues with AC in one room and an odd smell in another. The pool is lovely to have and the layout really has that close social feel, making chatting with other guests a welcoming experience. Staff were lovely across the board, quite a few times they went out of their way to assist with requests and make the stay a good one. My room mate even locked their keys in the room while I was away and they just issued a new one quickly and easily at the front desk. The area the hotel is in is a bit lacking in services, although the hotel does have a bar/restaurant if you are staying there for 4+ days then there isn't really much in the way of other food within a 10 min walk, and the nearest bus stop only has 1 service that goes to the airport shopping center. If you have a vehicle, there is free parking available for all guests which is a massive win! The big highlight is the staff, they were amazing in working with our convention and stepped up with a smile any time we asked for assistance with anything.
We stayed one night at Holiday Inn Auckland Airport and had an excellent experience from the moment we arrived. We booked the 2 Double Bed Standard Room through Agoda for NZD $191.25 and it was truly worth the price. The room was spacious, modern and very clean — definitely 10/10 for cleanliness. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, from the bathroom to the bedding and overall setup. The beds were extremely comfortable (10/10) — soft, cozy and perfect for a good night’s rest after a long journey. They have 2 type of pillow given, soft and firm. Which is my first time seeing hotel giving 2 type of pillow. We appreciated the quiet surroundings, which made it easy to relax and recharge before our next flight. Another big plus was the free parking, which made it convenient for us as we were driving. The hotel is well-located, just a short drive from Auckland Airport, yet it feels peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The staff at the front desk were friendly and professional, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. We also noticed how well-kept the hotel grounds and facilities were, reflecting great management and attention to detail. Overall, we highly recommend Holiday Inn Auckland Airport for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean and convenient stay near the airport.
Had to carry 23kg bag and three other small bags upstairs as there was no lift. Bit of a struggle if you're by yourself. But otherwise good for a quick transit hotel
Great location as we were based working in Manukau. Rooms were a decent size, very clean with all you expect. Very comfortable bed with options of soft and hard pillows. No electric blanket but the room heating was more than enough. Bath/shower option could be a potential hazard as the step out of the bath could be a bit steep for older people. Very large complex which goes around in a loop. Very quiet complex with hardly any outside noise and couldn't hear any road noise which was a great surprise. Fabulous reception staff who were friendly, efficient and helpful. Restaurant buffet dinner was suffice. Offered many options, slightly different to online menu but still good. Also enjoyed the continental breakfast which was delicious, recommended to me and I took full advantage of. Only took one photo of the breakfast but alot more options than what I could eat at the time. Would recommend Mangere Holiday Inn and would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for a work trip to Auckland. Rooms nice and clean. Extremely happy and helpful staff throughout the place. Excellent food and reasonable prices. I'll be staying next time I'm heading overseas. This place beats all the others in the area hands down.
Very impressed with my stay and high value for money. The good: room was spacious even with four suitcases, bathtub was deep and built for a tall person, bed and pillows were super comfy, breakfast spread was incredible, late checkout for members was most helpful as was luggage storage after checkout and before my evening flight. Bar happy hour was another perk and everyone I encountered was friendly. Lastly luggage scale in the lobby and airport shuttle for $8 were very convenient! The minor downsides: no elevators, hallways always smelled stuffy and gym equipment was out of order. Overall would recommend the Holiday Inn and will definitely be back next time I fly out of Auckland.
We had a two day work event here. It was an excellent location for people to drive and fly to, the catering was very good. This is a great facility for work events. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff were very good to deal with.
