“Awesome place for an uphill walk”
“Very good prices, free delivery if you spend a certain amount and the wonderful guys that delivered mine today went the extra mile for me re delivery. Highly recommend”
“Absolutely excellent! Great help planning the trip, excellent and very knowledgeable advice, and great support when things don't go according to plan. Highly recommended!”
“We have just returned from a fantastic three weeks with Joji, on his Spirit of Rajasthan tour. It was our first visit to India, and both Joji and the tour lived up to our highest hopes. Everything was beautifully curated - each city, village, temple, palace had its unique character, and wandering town streets and markets with Joji always fascinating. We loved the spontaneity of the tour - if something unexpected but interesting presented itself, off we would go and explore. And Joji also considered our special interests - so we had the joy of seeing art such as the wonderful misty watercolours of Abanindranath Tagore and the exquisite miniatures of Prof Bireshwat Sen, and architecture by Le Corbusier and his Indian colleague Balakrishna Dossi.”
“What a great experience and what an excellent Christmas present! Got a totally unique perspective on Transmission Gully. Perfect day, smooth flight (thanks Dennis) and panoramic views of the Kāpiti Coast. A good option for those wanting to try a helicopter flight for the first time.”
“Great place to walk and enjoy native flora and bird life. Lots of well maintained paths for all levels of walkers. Lovely little visitor information Centre manned by a great bunch of volunteers.”
“Walk down birdwood street and you will see so many native pigeons ( kereru ) . My fav walk to town from Karori”
“What an amazing venue for a concert! Saw the War on Drugs here and could not fault it one bit. Reasonably priced drinks, incredible location and the sound was great too. Great to see a city using a venue like this for live music!”
“We did the private lagoon tour and would recommend it to anyone. The lagoon itself is stunning, we went to four snorkelling spots including giant clams (more than the larger tours) as well as one foot and Honeymoon Islands. Mike and his wife were fantastic throughout and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!”
“Open water dive course was bloody awesome, great value. Nice shop, great guys, Cheers”
“Janine organised a fantastic trip for our family of 4 to Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand. Everything went perfectly. Communication through the entire process was excellent. I have also worked with Janine to book flights for a school trip and my parents have worked with her to book their own trips and we cannot speak highly enough of our experience working with her. Highly recommend!”
“One of my favourite places in the city”
“Lovely field to have a run on. Pitch is kept in great condition and the goals seem brand new.”
“Great facility, just a shame about the access.”
“The famous Wellington Sign is a must-stop when touring Wellington and surrounding areas. It has an interesting history of the changes made to showcase sports and other events over time. Yes, recommended.”
“Tons of great information and the awesome ladies at the desk were incredibly helpful! They can help you book tours and lodgings and they will work to help you plan free of charge! Highly recommend for anyone looking for things to do and places to go in NZ”
“Very helpful young guy at tye counter. He pointed me to what I needed. All good”
“This place is fun and the staff were great, but be warned the male female toilets aren't labelled well and it's easy to walk into the wrong one (especially when drunk)”
“Contacted Scott from a cruise ship off the coast of Ecuador to arrange flights home to NZ urgently. One phone call and an email and it was all sorted. Great service, and he phoned after we got home to make sure we were OK. Couldn't ask for anything more.”
“Beautiful and serene for a relaxing yoga and medication area. Highly recommended”
“Tom, Kate and the Team are amazing and this Cafe is extremely well worth a visit. Friendly service and great food. If you like mushrooms you will love them here.”
“Football how it was meant to be watched. Take note, Steve Stadium.”
“We stumbled upon a cool little bar slightly off Courtenay Place in Wellington and ended up having such a fun night. We were drawn in because we heard some really good filler songs playing—these were the tracks they had on between the karaoke performances. We went in around 9 o’clock when karaoke was already going, and within an hour or two the place really came to life. It was such an amazing vibe with great music, a fun crowd, and plenty of energy. Definitely a memorable night out that happened by chance and turned into something awesome.”
“Kilbirnie Park is a versatile and well-maintained green space in Wellington, perfect for both recreational activities and community events. The park boasts spacious fields that cater to a wide range of sports, including rugby, soccer, and cricket. These fields are regularly used by local clubs, schools, and casual players, making it a hub for sports enthusiasts of all ages. The park also includes an athletics track, which is ideal for runners and athletes looking to train. One of the standout features of Kilbirnie Park is its family-friendly environment. There’s a well-equipped playground that’s perfect for younger children, offering a safe and fun space for them to play. The park’s wide-open spaces also make it a great spot for picnics or leisurely walks. It’s dog-friendly, so many locals enjoy taking their pets for a stroll. The park’s location is very convenient, being close to Kilbirnie’s shopping area, bus routes, and other amenities. The nearby Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre is an added bonus for those looking to swim or relax after some outdoor activity. While the park is generally well-maintained, the fields can become a bit muddy during the rainy season. Overall, Kilbirnie Park is a fantastic community asset, offering something for everyone—whether you're there for sports, family time, or simply enjoying the outdoors.”
“Easy to find. Covered bus seat waiting area.”
“The staff were so helpful and organized an upgrade that we weren't able to get online. Throughout our stay the service was outstanding from all the staff. They were all so lovely and professional. They made us feel so special. The hotel is beautiful with lovely decor. Our room was really nice with a lovely view out over the city. And of course there is the chocolate hour! A few tips. It is worth paying a little bit more to get a room with a view. Where the hotel is is a bit isolated with no shops or restaurants nearby. It is worth paying to have your car parked there. We enjoyed just staying and eating at the hotel and only left once during our stay. The only low point was the bathroom door. Because it slid outside the door opening, there were huge gaps so you could hear everything!”
“I originally came in one day with my friend we where abot worried as it was some of our first bars in wellington and we had a lovely night the staff where so incredible and its kept me coming back everytime, all the bartenders have been lovely and chatty to me as always as they do a great job at keeping younger women such as myself and my friends safe the duty managers often are running around and still servicing with a smile which is honestly amazing especially when it's so packed . The staff have made that place what it is, and it's a safe and great place to drink highly recommend.”
