We had a fantastic 3 hours tour with Hayden. He is fun, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommended especially if you wouldn’t like to drive on steeply narrow streets of Wellington!

When visiting Wellington, the isite Information Centre is a valuable resource to help make the most of your time in the city and surrounding region. The knowledgeable staff were welcoming and ready to assist with suggestions and tips as to what to do during my visit. Without their help, I would have missed or skipped some interesting events happening while I was in town.
They were busy when I popped in, but someone checked what I needed, and I just needed to see Snapper Expert. Plenty to look at,and the lady expert as soon as she finished came straight to me and advised what to do. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful vistas but dress warm. The day we visited the temperature at the top was 4 degrees C and felt like 4 below with wind gusts up to 90 km/hr. It was very difficult to even walk to the center.
Ashleigh at the information centre gave us fantastic local information and recommendations, and even helped us book a trip to Hobbiton after we thought it had sold out months ago. Also stocks postcards and a rather handsome full-size Gandalf statue. Worth ducking in for sure.
Very nice view, from top of the cable car..highly recommended to visit in Wellington.
Lovely staff, popped in and they filled me with local knowledge, especially helpful as wellington museums where closing down due covid, saved alot of disappointment.
