It is a big open field. People play cricket, football, and other games here. It is clean, close to the city, and has changing rooms. A good place for sports and events.
What an amazing venue for a concert! Saw the War on Drugs here and could not fault it one bit. Reasonably priced drinks, incredible location and the sound was great too. Great to see a city using a venue like this for live music!

Excellent park for yoga & a spot of cricket. The park will be the venue for the Fat Boy Slim Concert soon. Fat Boy Slim will be a great gig. Parking in area will be limited. I would advise going on foot or uber for the event. Thanks Charles, CJ's Junk Removal Service, Wellington.

Right by the Botanical gardens . Big area of well mown grass that lots of people go onto . Kicking or hitting various sized balls around , whilst yelling and shouting at each other . They look to me like they really enjoy it.
