   I went fishing with family They were great with assisting g the kids and our grandson still adores anything to do with fishing. Sadly I was the only one not to.catch a snapper. Must do it again with family.

   We did the private lagoon tour and would recommend it to anyone. The lagoon itself is stunning, we went to four snorkelling spots including giant clams (more than the larger tours) as well as one foot and Honeymoon Islands. Mike and his wife were fantastic throughout and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

   Exceptional fishing, boat and skipper! We fought huge Kingfish, returned many to fight another day, which I respect. But left with 3. We also got a bin of Snapper, Trevally and the odd Gurnard. Skipper Matt put us on the spot (many spots)! 5 of us (experienced fishos) had the best charter experience and dare I say it, these old dogs even learnt some new tricks. Could not recommend enough.

   Worst boat trip ever. I'm shocked because the reviews are so positive & thats why we booked him. 4 months of cancelations apparently because of the weather, we finally went out as a late 75th birthday gift for my Mum. He told us not to wear life jackets even though we asked for them. 3/4 of us were new to fishing and 2 nearly went overboard in the rough sea he took us into, so rough all of us were bruised afterwards. A 4 hour fishing trip & we caught nothing. In his defense, he took us to 3 different spots. I've been on fishing trips before but never anything this bad. Disappointing and a waste of money. One star because he was a nice guy.

   We had a great time with Matt on board the Black Pearl. Matt is a laid back and extremely knowledgeable skipper who puts in the hard yards to get his customers a good catch. My wife caught her first fish, a good size trevally, which she was stoked with. We'll definitely be back!

   We had an awesome time with Matt on our evening charter ! His boat was super comfortable with generous space and was just perfect to sit and relax on. Although the fish were a little quieter today we had an awesome time and Matt certainly made it a great trip !
