Nice, well kept with a nice space for the lit'luns. Shame the Aviary is no longer in use, it is rather worn. I do hope the council fix it and not demolish it. Adds to the park! Be advised though, Parking in the area is paid 7 days a week. Found that out the hard way after visiting on a Sunday :D

Beautiful walkway from the convention centre through to a good park with an aviary as a point of difference - toddler loved the playground, and the tractor was very much an excitement for him.
This little slice of heaven is like an oasis in the middle of an urban desert! It's got something for everyone to relax and disconnect from a chaotic life. Children and adults can skate, toss a ball around, play ping pong. Younger kids and families can enjoy a nice little children's play ground, walk around the park and enjoy nature as well as ro get some exercise. Bring a book from the library next door and read under a tree with beautiful flowers, spreading fragrance and splashing colors. The birds chirping in a nearby aviary and sound of a little stream flowing through the gardens. It's a treat for all our senses and a treat no matter what the weather is like.

Great for wheel chairs. Ramps to some play and a network of parths. There is an bird aviary and walk through fountain.
Excellent place for a walk, sit in the sun, a picnic or give the kids fresh air and a good play in the play ground.
Heaps better than the previous years' display. It gets better every year! This year is such a success with the number of people every night. I wish some the garden lights can stay over Christmas so people can still walk around the garden during the evening. Congratulations Hutt City for such a successful Carnival of Lights !!
