“This place never fails to impress and satisfy me! Well worth the 20-30 min drive it takes to get there from Porirua. This has the best Fish n Chips I have ever had, which has the best cheeseburger I have ever had. Love how fresh the fish and seafood is. So succulent! I have introduced this place to so many friends and family. This has now become a family fave. Service here is super quick and super friendly! It is located across from the beach, quirky bars, restaurants, and cafes. Parking may be a wee bit hard during peak but we managed to find parking at Bunnings across from there. This place is a must for Oka/Raw fish lovers and a must eat for everyone!”

“We have been going to Polo for the last years with good reason. The coffee and kai are consistently delicious and the service friendly, efficient and comfy. Today we were back for a for brekky, when before the first bite our son started being sick and we quickly had to get out of there. Briar and the team were amazing, they quickly pulled together what we needed, no judgements, and kindly packed up what was left of our order. Thank you team.”

“Stumbled upon this gem while on a road trip in Welly. We had the bibimbap and pork yukgaejang - blown away by the generous amount of ingredients in the dishes and the rich flavours. Even with the lack of variety in their side dishes, the main dishes compensated for it as they were packed with ingredients. Will revisit if passing by!”

“The Hyderabadi dum biryani is a must try here. It feels very authentic and feels like from Hyderabad. The mutton haleem is very special here and one of the only places it is available in Wellington. All other Hyderabadi style curries are delicious. My wife liked it a lot as well.”

“Amazing atmosphere and real, authentic Indian cuisine. If you are a real fan of proper spicy food (and you can really handle the heat), mention "Indian hot" with your order. The staff were very polite and the owner came around a few times to ensure that we had everything we needed. Thank you for a slice of tasty spice wonderland in Wellington! “We were in a pineapple mood, so tried the pineapple stirfry with chicken and a red curry and pineapple with chicken. Both came with a small amount of rice. If you enjoy rice with more than half your bites, order an extra side. The chicken satay skewers were an ok way to start the meal. The real stars were the pineapple dishes! Service is good and the food was delivered quickly.”

“Very hip new wine bar that also does great cocktails. Food is incredible, maybe because it is prepared in the ex-Atlas kitchen, and the wait staff are very attentive. The DJ and pink lighting all make it a cool new place worth checking out!”

“One of our “go to” curry shops. Always good. Always tasty and almost always full. The family that run the place welcome you with a smile and wholesome food. I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this place already. Must have been too busy eating. The goat curry is a standard (shown) and everything else is good. Don’t hesitate outside. They didn't have savignon (which is what I normally drink), but I tried the pinot gris and liked it, so all good.”
