Delicious food! The person who served us, explained how serving best goes. Food was explosions of flavour. I was gutted we didn't get to saviour it more as we had to get to a movie. Next time, we'll take our time!

This place absolutely warmed my heart on a wet and windy day. Vibrant flavours, great wine, delightful service. The owners are passionate people with excellent taste and one can feel the heart they put into what they do. You won't be disappointed!

Good service and food was delicious. I hadn't realized that some of the dishes needed to be ordered in advance but our group of 7 were very happy with the dishes we were able to order tonight. They didn't have savignon (which is what I normally drink), but I tried the pinot gris and liked it, so all good.

Tiny (yet not) plates of goodness! Cafe Soleil has revamped from breakfast cafe to dinner restaurant and whilst I will miss the breakfast I am thrilled to have another a great quality Dinner place in Lower Hutt! Be prepared to over eat because it’s delicious! AND everything can or is gluten free. The potato bomba is going to be popular but the wine and garlic chicken tasted great and felt healthy, because it is rare to find a non-fried chicken option the days. We also had the spare ribs and meatballs. The tomato flavors have a depth that comes from great cooking and not a paste. And save room for dessert, because their red wine poached pears with marscapone was perfection, tender & tasty. The location on the corner is fabulous, you can see outside or up to the cat cafe I can’t recommend you try them enough!!

If you are a coffee lover, here is the place you must visit in Wellington. Super friendly staff. I love this cafe so much!

Eggs and coffees were perfect! Just get the feeling they could do with a few more staff members (yes there is a notice saying they are short staffed). There was a little wait which is fine, hope it is not a regular occurrence because the staff that were there were great!!

Warmly welcomed on arrival this morning. Short wait on food. Beautiful atmosphere, weather was miserable but the ambiance inside Soleil made up for it. Loving the rustic benches and tables. Food was beautifully cooked, and tasted so good. Coffee was great also. Highly recommend this spot! Ample (paid) parking roadside. Excellent customer service also

This is why you always go somewhere more than once, and never judge them on their first meal. The cafΓ© layout was lovely lots of wooden furniture and plenty of seating. The menu was short and unique, lots of options for eggs which I love. I had the veggie garden eggs which is spicy hollandaise with poached eggs and avocado on toast. It was not as I expected, which is why I always recommend going somewhere more than once. We have a perception in our heads of how food is supposed to be and sometimes that’s not how it is. I really enjoyed this meal, and love having multiple options for just simple eggs on toast. The coffee was great and my medium size walls. In fact, quite large :-) Will definitely go again and try different options. In today’s post, Covid world, eating out is a luxury due to staff availability. I think we need to remember that. Things may take a little longer, but they taste just as delicious. I went at a slow time of the day, and things arrived quickly, I was lucky.

Arrived for a late brunch and were not sure what to eat so ordered two spinach omelet with spring onions and fresh tomatoes. The omelets were large, spicy, very cheesy as in delightful with quality melted tasty cheese. The price at $14 each was great value for money and friendly professional service. I would definitely recommend Cafe Soleil.
