“AMAZING dentist, I am from the UK so this was my first visit to a NZ dentist. I did visit a dentist across the road who was said to be cheaper and had a terrible experience. It was a relief to visit central dentist. My dentist knew exactly what he was doing and explained to me each step. I felt confident I was in the hands of a professional dentist. “Very friendly staff And very kind to all of my pets. And very accommendating to me paying my vet bill. As im on a benefit. They have always been there for me. I had to put my beautiful little dog down on the 6th of December last year. It was a very emotional time for me at my little dog with my mum's dog as well and she put my mum passed away on the 24th of November 2011 and I nearly lost my little dog . Floey. She was a very loyal little dog and I love her very much and I find it hard to be without her.”

Shade has had a number of health issues since I got him and he’s had to have multiple surgeries and trips to Massey. The team at Upper Hutt Vets has always been so caring and so devoted to looking after Shade and doing the absolute best thing for him. Even when he’s been at Massey I have had calls from the vets and from the vet nurses checking in and following up with me to see how things are going. Shade can be a little be anxious when it comes to being handled by anyone that’s not me. The team have worked really hard to get Shade comfortable and have been so accommodating in figuring out the best way to treat Shade without conflict. I feel so lucky and grateful that we found such amazing caring people to help us through incredibly difficult times.”

The Vet Nurse on the phone helped chat me through the issue and provided me with excellent advice until I could get in with a vet. I was served by the lovely Kimberly who helped me with fitting the harnesses and also with carrying one of them out to my car( I’m currently injured with a back problem). “I attended a Saturday course here. The course was well run, and we, the participants, were well looked after. There was a bit of confusion around getting us in to the building at the beginning of the course, but they sorted it out quickly. I was highly impressed with the quality and knowledge of the instructor. She was excellent, and ran the course efficiently. We all learnt a lot. Their offices aren't flash, but that's not surprising since they a community organisation. The facilities were just fine for the course.”

“Wellingtonians are very fortunate to have a hospital of this caliber in their city, and even more so, that the skills of its dedicated nurses, doctors, and surgical staff and equipment is free!! So many of us believe that the USA is a wonderful, wealthy country, but nothing, absolutely nothing, is free over there! Here, with so many people being hospitalised with covid, and a myriad of other often life threatening ailments, they are treated and discharged, fit and healthy to get on with their lives. In the USA, they are discharged with a million dollar medical bill, or are required to continue paying eye wateringly expensive medical insurance premiums!! So please, please, treat all the medical staff with the respect and courtesy they deserve. They are all doing their very best for you, often under very difficult and trying conditions.”

We changed from our previous medical centre due to concerns with the level of care; this has never been a concern for us here, we are so pleased we changed and found this one.”
