“My favourite coffee shop when I come to Wellington. The service is always great and their coffee is excellent. Look for their other location near The Reserve Bank of NZ of the Terrace. You can also buy their roasted coffee.”

“Probably the best Eggs Benedict (with mushrooms) I’ve so far had. Would definitely order again the next time I’m in Wellington 11/10 The chicken bowl didn’t convince me but my partner liked it and was happy. The large hot chocolate had just the right amount of chocolate flavour, just a shame it wasn’t a bit bigger. The flat white was very good and my partner was happy with it.”

“Coffee is A++ and I’m a coffee snob, was nice to finish a good coffee. I had chicken wings, while they’re were a tad oily they were still tasty and a decent serving! Had a chips on the side and that was also a decent serving and were very tasty, bonus points for not having dry wings. Partner had the chicken burger which he really enjoyed. Overall a really nice experience, the lady who served us was super polite and had fab hospo skills - very welcoming. Fire was also on so we were toasty warm. We will back back in the summer ☀️”

“Really good chicken and felafel kebab. It wasn't overloaded with soggy lettuce and carrot like a lot of kebab places tend to do. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere was typical of a foodcourt.”

“We had our wedding reception here and it was AMAZING! The functions manager, Chyanne has been amazing during the early planning, to figuring out the last minute details. They been very accommodating for guests who had dietary/allergies, and the staff that night were fantastic for making sure our reception was amazing! The hotel's fantastic location made exploring the city a breeze. ​From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful atmosphere and the genuinely friendly, professional staff—especially Ray and Anthony, who were absolutely amazing. ​The food was just as impressive. The weekend high tea was an exceptional experience, with every tea and accompanying food item delicious and the service impeccable. ​Breakfast was a definite highlight. While the buffet was decent, the à la carte menu was sleek and memorable—I'm still dreaming about the egg benedict and the delicious mushroom dish. ​Dinner was just as stunning, thanks to a fantastic salmon dish and the breathtaking night waterfront view. As a seafood lover who usually avoids raw oysters, I was amazed by the one I stole from my friend—it was incredibly fresh, and the vinaigrette was a perfect touch. ​And the experience didn't stop there. The room was spacious and tidy, and I absolutely loved the bathtub. ​I was also pleasantly surprised by the value. Despite ordering a lot to try everything, I didn't find the prices horribly expensive. “Got hosted by Mark tonight. Wonderful chap, checked on top ups for drinks and food. made sure we were comfortable. Our original server didn't seem like she could be bothered after the order to meal check, but mark ensured we had a good time”

Thank you Rory, Karen, bar staff and kitchen for making our evening run so smooth with great service and food was delicious - the Lamb Shanks were a hit! Great customer service our family felt so welcomed and special. We got to enjoy a fun evening just catching up while flow of meals, addtional requests and drinks were served in perfect timing and accommodating our kids meals was wonderful. Thanks again Justin and Speight's team for accommodating our group and organising a set menu. We had a great time, will be back again.”

“This is long overdue. Yesterday was Mojo Market Lane's last day. I will really miss their coffees - from Flat White to their Machiatto, I will definitely miss the lovely Asian lady Chef with her fare of perfect poached eggs, freshly roasted Chicken Sandwiches...Always given a royal treatment by the team at Market Lane and always given thoroughly enjoyable and pleasurable gastronomic experience whenever I had my breakfasts there! “I would say the best bubble tea in town! This is my place to go ! Usually there at least once per week. Lovey staff, can recommend you some combos different from the menu if you ask for their opinion. Things that i really like about this place is the app that makes the order easy. Pay with your phone . How easy ! Dont need to bring your card. The place is aesthetically pleasing. Clean ans inviting. Some of my favorites are Thai milk tea, passion fruit, taro tea. I never had a bad service there . The staff is very attentive. They want you to enjoy the bubble tea experience and come back for more!”

“I have had lunch here on a weekday, and dinner on a Friday night but early. Both times I enjoyed the plant-based food and the atmosphere of the place. For dinner I had the fajita tofu bowl (pictured) - I cannot rant enough about how good and perfectly cooked their tofu is. Verrae nice: crunchy crust and not soggy. Both times I enjoyed having quite a few options to choose my meal from, and how fresh the ingredients are. It’s also handy that this restaurant is right on the beach, and handy for parking and the bus stops. Staff have been very responsive and helpful both times, so 5 stars it is! Will be back to try the other menu options.”

“I visited this lovely little cafe on a daily basis while staying in Kelburn Castle. I welcomed warmly and have a problem with my request but unfortunately very unfortunate. He watches me treat them with others with the same cheerful patience and the clientele is varied. The food is excellent and the coffee superb. The best little coffee I've ever found.”
