Great vibrant lunch stop. Menu isn't huge but a good selection. It's a place to go if you know the menu and it's what you fancy on the day. Coffee is really good.

It's 11.30 and we have an hour to spare before boarding the ferry. To top it off, we are feeling a little peckish. I had heard good things about The Kanteen, so off we go. You are greeted by a warm yet industrial atmosphere, with a professional air. The vibe is very much like a shared workspace, the occasional table hosting a laptop and an impromptu meeting or two. We made our way to the service desk and we're greeted with a lovely welcome and friendly smile. The food in the cabinet looked amazing, so I ordered the Mushroom Melt, and my friend the Swiss Cheese BLT. And of course, a couple of Flat Whites!! The food was served promptly and was amazing. The melt did exactly that, with dripping cheese, caremalised onions and loads of mushrooms, this toasted sandwich ticked all of my boxes. Made with care and with fresh ingredients, it was the gift which kept on giving. And for the price tag it was a great deal. The coffee was equally good, and served in a suave eco friendly disposable cup. Please try this place out, it's definitely worth it!

Went for a farewell lunch. There is not so great selection of food to choose from. Had reserved a table and was thrown in a corner, away from the rest of the people dining there. The person bringing the food to the table did not know what the food was known as for the guest to identify.

Great coffee. Well priced food for such a central location. Unremarkable service. Vibe-less.

Just a coffee and a toasted sandwich. The toasties were scrumptious, ham, cheese & mushroom. About 3 layers of ham, good amount of cheese & field mushrooms (nice & thick n chunky neway). Coffee was good, bit don't have bowls for those of us that are addicted. LOL.

We had a function here last night. Jet and the staff provided us with excellent service and food. We were also able to utilize the TV screens and sound system. Highly recommend for a function, seminars etc...

A pleasant space for lunch, well thought out makeover with colour and texture and choices of seating. Did not have to wait long for lunch but we were early.
