Awesome place for cold bevies, staff are awesome and the locals know how to make you feel welcome... TAB, pool table, darts and gaming facilities... Never a dull moment at the ARMS.
This pub has a certain old fashioned vibe to it. Not cosy particularly but decent enough with pretty good food. Worth checking out
Highly do not recommend this bar. The atmosphere is real sketchy, their customers are super rude and their staff are just appalling. The manager completely lost her mind when she asked for my ID and I said itβs just in the car can I go grab it? When I walked back in and presented it to her she took it and didnβt even look at it and lost her mind at me for asking this question. It was absolutely disgusting, disrespectful and so shocking that you would want to treat your customers so vile! Shame on you, all we wanted to do was play a quick game of pool
Great place, we stopped on our way through Wellington to play a game of pool and have a jug. Great prices and friendly staff highly recommend!

Nice wee local, it's been here since my pet dinosaur was wee. I hadn't been here for about 20yrs hellish wen ya walk in and it's the same people drinking the same drink. Bar staff are brilliant there is alot of knowledge to be learnt from these people, they hold places like this together. Big ups for newlands tavern, it's been a long time between drinks
Caught up with a mate and his friend. Quite busy even in the outside area despite the impending drizzle or rain. They cranked up the new BBQ for the regulars (might be nice to share wider...). Good fun overall :-)
Barmaids are super helpful and super cynical. God bless them.
