“Very nicely appointed rooms. I don't tend to fall asleep easily but the bed, pillows, and linen were perfection and I slept better than I have in months. Location is great, a very short walk to shops, eateries etc... Bonus points for the fair trade hot drink provisions and the Forest and Bird toiletry products. “What a great campground! The pool and facilities are beautiful, well maintained and clean. I wasn't sure what to expect after the previous review but I was actually amazed with how nice and clean everything was and the bush behind makes it so tranquil! Lots of cool details including the swimwear dryer in the ladies changing room. Definitely keen to come back again!”

“Having moved gyms when I moved to this area, I was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff and also the patrons. There are so many classes to join, many different areas of the gym in which you feel comfortable with and a great friendly atmosphere. It is more expensive than other gyms, but I think it's worth it if you make use of the classes, gym and the pool area. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere. The only thing I would like is 24 hr access by a tag...not to the pool area but to the main gym as 7pm at weekends and 9.30pm is hard if you do shift work”

Getting There Getting to Poripori Water Holes is pretty straightforward: Park: Find a spot in the gravel area along Poripori Road. Cross the River: You’ll need to hop across the Wairoa River. “It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Katrina from Spa World in Tauranga. She was very friendly and full of knowledge while giving us help in choosing the right spa for us. There was no pressure from her to make a decision which gave us time to think about what we wanted. The guys that came out to install the spa were awesome as well. Again full of knowledge and respect and they done a great job with the install. Definitely recommend Katrina and the team if you are looking for a spa.”

“Kidiwise is the best daycare around! Our friends in other areas are so jealous of what our son gets up too! It’s not about being the top looking with fake trees its about kids being kids, creating, building, exploring their own native bush weekly! Pony rides, hatching chickens and swimming in the spa! We can’t recommend kidiwise enough we love the imagination it lets our son have and the teachers who support him.”

“Stunning, quiet, peaceful location with easy access to Katikati and Tauranga. A high end, purpose built B&B at affordable prices. Beautiful gardens with sun rises and sunsets to view while enjoying your cup or glass of something on the huge sheltered decks . Hosts are exceptional and breakfast fresh, nutritious and plentiful. This was our second stay and we will be back again.”

“We made a very late booking online and didnt arrive till about 10pm (approx) the owner text us to see how our trip was going and to make sure we were ok...the upon arrival she was standing at the drive to greet us...the welcome was warm and lovely after a tiring drive...the room was very warm and cozy and it was a beautiful place to stay..couldn't rate this place high enough..and cant wait to come back for more than an overnight stay...”
