“Don't usually go in here to shop but was in the area so hopped in for some GF things with my okker son. Oh my ... Yr bakery has a huge range of all the things we're NOT allowed to eat. If their prices weren't so high in there, I would def get my grocs there, but alas way too expensive. Love the shop itself though as it's clean and signage is gd. Large range of lots of items. Any chance Countdown you could drop those prices by at least 20% ?”

“Only complaint is to get to the Technical department, you have to walk Miles through the Furniture department. If you have restricted mobility, don't bother.”

“This store has a really nice layout and stays reasonably well stocked. Our favorite thing about it, though, is it's fairly quiet and peaceful. A large discount store down the road attracts the big crowds, leaving this one surprisingly empty. It's always pleasant to walk in here and not be mushed in with throngs of people in the vegetable section as other stores funnel everyone in there. In Countdown you can start shopping in whatever isle you want. Refreshing!”

“I really enjoyed going into this Woolworths, I'm from a small city so it's always interesting to go to the bigger supermarkets. The variety of meat and produce that you have faster passes anything the smaller cities get”

“Great to see that the collectibles are being shared around! Bought a great dinner : olives, gherkins, feta, edam slices, carrots, ravioli, and ginger kisses for desert. Easy nutritious and delicious (sans kisses) 'Number free' options were a bit tricky to find but we found our healthy choices eventually.”

Staff always very helpful and pleasant Central Mall also has a great free flowing movement by where shoppers have great respect for each other around them. There is a good selection of fresh locally grown veges, baked bread from Volare in Hamilton, and the biggest selection of cheeses I've seen anywhere! The food and coffee is great. But what makes it really special is the staff member Albert remembers my name every time I go in - even though my name is quite unusual. Really appreciate the service here.
