Bit run down an small , not alot of choice. Hate to say it but had to go to new world to get everything we needed, normally shop in Hamilton woolworths
Not my regular store but popped in to get something that I couldn't find at my regular place. Very friendly help received in the veggie aisle! Got everything i needed.
Must be the oldest and smallest Countdown / WWths store in the country. Really out of date, dingy and tired. Need a new, bigger store in the fast growing Eastern end of town, to compete with New World.
Busy little store but always stocked nicely and friendly, helpful staff.
Good pricing but less variety able to be obtained here. Wish this could be a bigger better store like a large Woolworth and with an easier carpark

More like an over sized Four Square than a supermarket. Considering the size and continual growth in Matamata, I would expect a full size supermarket by now.
Everything you need, good parking.... except the idiot who blocked the through way...not to worry there's an idot proof double entrance/exit. Excellent staff backed up by superviser/manager... Had a minor issue which was resolved straight away in a most excellent efficient manner. You all totally deserve a 5star rating.
