There are an excellent variety of foods to choose from, though some dishes like the sweet and sour pork are not as tasty as from other Chinese restaurants. The service is very fast and the restaurant is clean and tidy. However the prices are quite steep without 1st table - $35 for the pork belly and $5 for a small bowl of rice.”

The previous visit was not as good - not enough place settings, even after asking; we had water glasses but no water, until we asked for it; and we seemed to be a blind spot for the waiter. “We meet up here with friends from school days and early working life a few times a year. It's always a pleasure as the staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food is lovely. There is some outdoor seating and lots of inside seating. You can order off the menu or have cabinet food, or have just a coffee/drink if that's what you're wanting. “This is now a new fish and chips shop that also sells fresh whole fish. The takeaways is fantastic. We had battered gurnard and chips. Huge portion sizes on the chips so we ended up buying far too many compared to what other shops provide. Fresh Blue Nose on ice too.”
