This is now a new fish and chips shop that also sells fresh whole fish. The takeaways is fantastic. We had battered gurnard and chips. Huge portion sizes on the chips so we ended up buying far too many compared to what other shops provide. Fresh Blue Nose on ice too.
I Found it closed every time. May be some change to this place. I have been there couple of times but it found closed.
Went in today - about 5 mins ago - to get a sandwich for lunch. Noticed pretty quickly that they have VERY mouldy food on display in the fridges. Lord only knows how long that's been there. When I picked it up to actually make sure that's what I was seeing I got told 'thats not for sale'. I should hope not! But when questioned why they still had mouldy food on display the best answer I got was 'i don't know'. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Begs the question as to what the other food is like that they sell. Won't be going back.
Firstly, I would like to acknowledge that the service provided was satisfactory. However, I regret to inform you that the quality of the food fell short of my expectations. The noodles that I ordered were not as fresh as I had hoped. While they were edible, they did not meet my taste preferences, and I have decided that it is unlikely for me order noodles again due to this experience. In addition, one of my friends ordered a samosa and was disappointed to find that it was burned on one side. This oversight left him quite frustrated and affected his overall experience. I understand that mistakes can happen in any establishment, but it is important for customers to feel valued and respected. Although my friend may have specific preferences, it is essential for takeaway to strive for consistency in their offerings. Perhaps I should stick to chicken and chips
FANTASTIC shopping experience.. The best Indian shopping place I have been to. The best products from the length and breadth of India. Very neat and tidy place. Absolutely well stocked.. Fresh and up to date goods.. Staff is also very good. Prabh form their staff she is very kind girl and help to find a product which i needed.
Needed a good curry meal away from home and so glad I found this place. A little out of the way and looks like a converted petrol station but don’t be put off. Seriously good food (beef Rogan josh and a pile of good rice plus garlic naan for under $15). A delicious curry, tender meat and plenty of; medium chili was all I could handle; still thermally hot after drive back to town via bottle store ( Esk Valley 2017 Syrah went well with the food). Chef is ex Bollywood restaurant in town; about 10 yrs there but now cooking for his own business. I had to smile when was told best seller is butter chicken with chips! Kiwindian? Maybe next time. Just wish they were in Auckland!
If youre ever in need of a box of chips when you're hungry this is the place for chips. The customer service is lovely with people that are always nice and have a good laugh with. Great prices for great quality food
Amazing food quality here that always comes in clutch when needed. Customer service is always as best as they can be with no complaints ever. Once again super nice people that own the store with super good food for amazing prices.
