“Best service recovery experience. We booked 2 stepper bikes online and when we arrived, they were out of service. We were so disappointed as we wanted to try them out, but instead we were offered 2 x very nice e-bikes, valued at much more than we booked the stepper bikes for. The bikes were excellent quality, well maintained, and made our Te Awa River Ride a wonderful experience. They even let us drop the bikes off at the city shop, as it was closer to our hotel. Kia ora for making our short stay in Hamilton one to remember.”

I have just had to replace one shirt which was over ten years old and has just started to wear on the collar. “I know little about bikes, but knew I had a problem with mine. Messaged ahead, told to bring it in the next day, picked it up again the day after. Easy peasy. Mark was nice, clearly experienced, and didn't mind a quick chat about the bike to an obvious novice. Would recommend, and will be back if I have any problems in the future. Also I got a park out the front both days. Seems it's in a spot which is slightly too far for people heading to the CBD, but still has 60 minute limits. Key info for anyone like me that hates driving and gets mad anxiety over parking.”

“What I like about Spin City are - its local. No need to go into Dunedin for servicing, or items I need. - Andrew is helpful and knowledgeable. Maybe it is because he is the owner, but certainly better to deal with than some of the staff in some other bike shops. - They stock the Watt Wheels, which is a Christchurch based manufacturer with great value bikes.”

“Martina led a private surf lesson for my daughter and I. It was an absolutely amazing experience. I am a complete beginner and the ocean can feel quite intimidating at first, but Martina made us feel calm, safe and confident from the very start. She was thoughtful and incredibly encouraging, focussing on what we were good at and building on that. She analysed our moves and always gave good advice on how to improve to be better at the next try. I would highly recommend her and South Pacific Surf.”

“Solar Surf Board Repairs was recommended to me by a friend that recently had to fix a ding on his board and was super happy with the work done. I 'luckily' didn't end up needing to repair my surfboard but I've received the best customer service! CJ was busy when I got there but took the time to look and assess the damage on my board and was super patient and nice in explaining to me what he was seeing. As I told him, I 'hope' not to have to use his services soon :), but will definitely go back if needed.”

I said no one seems to have navy sandals and she immediately asked if I had seen ones on the website and showed them to me. I pondered for a day as also saw they were in a powder blue colour.
