The best family-owned outdoor gear - arrived the day after I ordered it online. Everything I have of theirs is at least 5 years old (the oldest is over 50 years!) and still being used as my top pick on each outdoor adventure. Really recommend!

Excellent quality clothing. I have used their Prolite shirts and trousers for many years. They stand up to regular handwashing and still look great. I have just had to replace one shirt which was over ten years old and has just started to wear on the collar. I spend up to two months each year travelling so they get plenty of use in all climates around the world.
I recently purchased a water proof jacket and fleece from the Christchurch store and was super impressed by the service and knowledge from the staff. Stoked with the products couldn't recommend highly enough.
I recently purchased a jacket and a mid-layer from Earth Sea Sky's Wellington Pop Up Shop, and I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience. The garments offer unmatched quality, with thoughtful design that clearly caters to the demands of outdoor enthusiasts. From wind-resistance to breathability, these pieces truly exceed my expectations. But what I was super impressed with was their exceptional customer service. Jane provided great advice on the technical aspects of my jacket (Turbo Guide), and even though I wasn't sure it was for me, she gave me her email and mobile in case I wanted to proceed later on. Once I pressed 'go', she quickly ordered in my size and I was wearing it pretty much the next working day! Her passion for the brand matched with the overall quality of the products, made shopping with ESS a delight. Seriously- I can't recommend them highly enough.

Earth Sea Sky - great clothing. I use it at work - really high quality, durable and professional looking. I also have some T-shirts for personal use, again excellent quality. Service at the Christchurch store is excellent and Mike was extremely helpful. Highly recommend their clothing for performance, durability and value.
Visited their pop-up store in Wellington and brought some clothes. The lady at the store was very kind and helpful, and I was impressed with her knowledge in their products (and tramping in general)! Very happy with my purchase although I wish there were more crew neck tops for women. Hope their merino quality remains superior unlike what happened to other brands when their business grew very big.
