We went to Ayuspa the second time for a 3 day Ayurveda retreat/detox, staying in her home for 4 nights, in a quiet, very comfortable room with ensuite, plus a large lounge and a quiet outdoor space to relax in between treatments. Also, there is a pool, very large garden and good walks just outside the house. The food was outstanding, all vegetarian and cooked with regards to our specific detox and clinical needs in support of the treatments, beautifully spiced and changed every day, Again, it was an experience we don't ever want to miss, and we will be back again. Rachna is such a knowledgeable, highly professional, hard working, energetic but also calm, open, amicable, lovely person. She makes you feel beeing in the best hands, right at home and welcome, laying the grounds for the best outcome of the Ayurvedic treatments she is recommending and administering based on a thorough pre-clinic evaluation of your body type and the intended effects of the clinic which are of course very client specific. We each had 3 hours of treatments per day and enjoyed a great diversity of Rachna's recommended and applied treatments like e.g. enema, shrub massage, potly, shirodhara, foot/face/head massage, hand athritic treatment, eye/nose/ear treatments, facials. The effect on body and soul was noticeable from day one, in our relaxation and forgetting the environment, but also in the effect on our body through detoxification, which can be quite demanding and tiring at times. It was therefore perfect that we were able to retreat to our own quiet zones inside the home of Rachna. We highly recommend Ayuspa and Rachna.
Delicious tea to start before the consultation, followed by the most amazing experience. An hour and a half of pure bliss - warm oil face massage (divine!) and full body massage with warmed oils tailored specifically for me. Highly recommend AyuSpa and will definitely be back.
βMy friend and I had a weekend in Cambridge and were delighted to find Dr. Rachna Kuma and her purpose built Ayurvedic AyuSpa with women in mind. We both had an indian head massage followed the next day by a harmony massage. The kind and caring approach Rachna showed was so welcoming and calming, with detail to individual needs. Her rooms were warm and inviting with a very professional and understanding manner, and the therapies were absolutely blissful. Seriously if you have a moment to give yourself please go there to rejuvenate. Your shoulders will drop, your skin will awaken, your thoughts will have time to rest, honestly just do it. I have been a therapist myself and understand the love, strength and wisdom that is needed and Rachna has it all and more. We cannot wait to create another opportunity to visit her spa be pampered and guided for calmer living. Amazing massage! Rachna is very experienced and clearly has a gift for healing. I decided on the Total Bliss royal treatment (90min), as informed by Rachna, after I explained I wanted a rhythmic and relaxing massage. It was exactly what I had hoped for - I left feeling wonderfully relaxed, pampered and nurtured. The facilities and massage room were both luxurious and tranquil. This was experience was better than the full body ayurvedic massages I had when I lived in Auckland. We are very lucky to have AyuSpa here in the Waikato! Looking forward for my next occasion to treat myself to a treatment here. Thank you Rachna! :)
I had the shirodhara treatment - my first time ever. It was a lovely, relaxing experience. Very professional service from Rachna. Her setting of the clinic is beautiful and you feel like a guest I her space. Lovely extra touches like a meal and drink at the end of the session. Looking forward to my next treatment here βΊοΈ
Rachna (of Ayuspa) is so lovely, so welcoming, and she was very experienced and good at what she does. Rachna's manner is so relaxing, the facilities are beautiful, very clean and well taken care of, with alot of the latest technology but delivered in a very beautiful, earthy and exotic way... It was a very beautiful atmosphere and unlike anything Ive experienced before.. the whole process was lovely. I would definitely recommend 'Rachna's Ayuspa to anyone and believe she went above and beyond what I expected and that the services she provides are a real labour of love. Absolutely recommend
