“The Pad Thai Chicken and Green Curry Chicken on Rice was absolutely divine! Tasted authentic with the right amount of flavour and spice. The staff were very friendly. We come here nearly every year to celebrate our anniversary. The only downside was that the takeaway spilled all over the bag and my car because it had a crack, but otherwise, was great!”

We rocked up 10 minutes before closing, and even though everything had been turned off, the owners and staff welcomed us in so warmly and whipped up a beautiful fettuccine. Then 15 minutes later, one of our whaanau turned up—and they didn’t think twice about firing things up again to make another. Truly above and beyond. “Tried this out for my birthday because of the reviews. Did not disappoint. Beautiful dishes. Not all dishes were to my liking but I dined with family & everyone enjoyed their food. We spent around $500 & that's js because we bought heaps of plates for 9 of us & had heaps of leftovers. Loved the bbq pork & sweet taro balls? And also the little buns with condensed milk not sure what they were called. Duck was also good. Oh and the soft shell crab was to die for. So good. Too many other dishes to name but thoroughly enjoyed our meals & will definitely come back in the near future to try other dishes. Thank you”

“We had such a beautiful meal here for two, restaurant is very authentic and service was great. The vegetarian lasagna was amazing and best I have had in Auckland also my husband had the meat lovers pizza which was very good! We finished off with the baklava for dessert which was lovely. I would definitely recommend.”

“The food was just spectacular. Every bite was another indulgent flavor to experience. I personally enjoyed the Lemon Leek Risotto, it was tangy and perfectly cheesy. The service was so nice and friendly. I sure felt welcome to have the delicious food. The setting is very cute if you enjoy two spaces coming together nicely. If not such a fan of the bar there is a more divided section of tables not visible to the bar. Both settings were very enjoyable. The walk into the restaraunt was very cute and gave me a good feeling, and the feeling was right! Enjoy your food and place at the same time. I really recommend it!”

“We had the most fantastic experience at Mudbrick - I highly recommend visiting! Brooke did our tasting, she was so friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. The wine was absolutely delicious (we went for the “Waiheke Tasting” and we loved all four of the wines). We sat outside, the views were incredible across the island and Auckland in the background. The waiting staff were friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and so aesthetically pleasing. The foccacia was the best I’ve ever tasted!”

“Decided to have Indian lunch after watching a documentary about Indian cuisines. We have ordered here before and knew that their food was amazing. It was my first time to order lamb biryani, chicken rara and tandoori platter. Usually I order the one I'm most familiar with (which is butter chicken) but today I wasn't disappointed with my lunch. It was very flavorful and everything tastes authentic. There's only 2 of us in the house but we got leftovers for dinner and tomorrow's lunch. Let's all support Nz businesses at this tough covid times.”

“Came here for lunch over the long weekend. Tried the coffee and tea combo with condensed milk which was so yummy. The chicken satay was good especially the sauce with it. The fish curry and the beef rendang were so yummy. Definitely get the coconut rice and anchovy sambal. I also got the fried fish which was nice but I wanted it more spicy. If you haven’t been here do so the couple that runs it are so passionate about the food and really value every person that walks through the door”

“We had a great experience at this restaurant! We started with the coconut prawns and spring rolls — both were very flavorful and fresh. For mains, we had the Pad Thai and Thai Green Curry, which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent — the lady who served us was so nice and friendly, and the gentleman was very prompt and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we loved the place!”

“Our 2nd time enjoying their amazing food and this time we chose to dine in. The kitchen was a hive of activity as many came to collect their orders as well as a lot of uber eats. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves which was bliss. We were able to enjoy their amazing dishes as though we had booked the place just for us (couldve been everyone was glued to the Wahs game) as I have definately seen it a lot busier usually. Faultless service and beautiful decor. Perfect atomsphere for a rare date night. The food was incredible as always, super fresh, perfect amount of spice and large portions meant we were able to take the leftovers home to enjoy further. Super accomdating of a severe food allergy. As much as we would love to keep this place secret just for us, they definately earnt a 5 star review! Meals we had; Satay chicken sticks, Curry puffs(best ive had) Spring rolls Tempura chicken cashew stir fry Yum Thai salad with beef All in all a wonderful local business providing everything you hope for when you venture out for a lovely meal. 10/10 will be returning for more!”

“Went to Hello Vietnam last for phở . We got the beef special. That was one of the best phở we have had including during our recent trip to Vietnam. Today we went back for bánh mì and cà phê sữa đặc. The fillings and taste of the bánh mì are truly authentic. The size is a bit bigger than in nam. We could only eat one between us, the other came home for dinner. The coffee was superb. We will be back for certain.”
