We had a Tender Chicken Meze Meal and a Mix Grill meal with chips. Also tried the famous Turkish Baklava. Everything was just so good and delicious. Left the place feeling perfectly full and genuinely delighted.
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. I don't usually write food reviews but their falafel eggplant sandwich is genuinely the best sandwich I've ever had. The service is so lovely as well and overall an amazing place. I would 100% recommend having a meal here!

Babaganush Turkish Restaurant & Café - Our Absolute Favourite Place! My boyfriend and I have been visiting Babaganush Turkish Restaurant & Café (formerly Kapadokya) ever since it opened in its new location. Honestly, it has become our absolute favourite spot in Hamilton. Every time we go, we are blown away all over again by how beautiful, welcoming, and amazing this place truly is. The atmosphere is stunning, the décor, lighting, and little details create such a warm and authentic vibe that makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of restaurant where you can sit back, relax, and just soak in the beauty around you while enjoying incredible food. Speaking of food… every single dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The chicken shish is always perfectly grilled and full of flavour, the schnitzel is crispy and comforting, and every plate comes with fresh, colourful salads that balance everything out so well. Portions are generous, filling, and always leave us satisfied. We’ve even topped our meals with dessert, and it’s just the perfect finishing touch. We love this place so much that we keep going back; it’s not just a one-time visit kind of restaurant, it stays with you and makes you excited to return. The staff are always so kind and attentive, making the whole experience even more special. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Turkish food in a stunning setting with exceptional service, Babaganush is the place to be. It’s become such a special spot for us, and we can’t wait for all the memories we’ll keep making here!
Went for lunch as my office is nearby. Had mixed kebab rice and was quite good. Can get better with service but no issues so will definitely come back. Thank you..
Wasn't sure looking at it from the outside, but after you walk through the doors it's beautiful! Comfortable cushions on the wall seats, which are along all walls, the bright colours were a great contrast against the darker tables and floor. Food was on point, we got the coban meze platter and the beef moussaka to share between 2. We were stuffed, and couldn't fit the last couple of pieces of bread. The highlight for me was the tabbouleh that came with the moussaka, I would eat that all day.
Delicious iskenders and kebabs among other things. Ample portions and the food is very fresh. Especially noticeable on the salad. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Our new favourite restaurant in Hamilton.
Babaganush was amazing! The food was outstanding, I forgot to get a photo of our entree, it was the garlic bread and was fantastic! The kebab was HUGE. Pizza was awesome for the kids and the wife had the Iskender she was raving about it, the couscous side dish she especially enjoyed. Topped it off with baklava! Couldn’t have asked for a better night. We were able to sit outside which was a real treat in the sunshine. Do yourself a favor and eat here when I. Hamilton East!
