So I decided to take swimming lessons with Benoit and I am an adult swimmer. He is an excellent teacher when it comes to swimming, he listens to you and shows guidance according to your fitness, confidence and your ability. He has an efficient way of communicating and to teach swimming. I would highly recommend Ben from my experience. I can completely do all the breastroke, freestyle and backstyle now. And still taking lessons with him in order to improve and compete.”

“Incredibly fun activity. The two hours were up before I knew it. Appreciated the different range of tools, and the person that explained how to throw (I believe his name was KJ,) was very friendly and helpful. I don't remember the other staff member's name, only that he had a SpongeBob tattoo on the inside of his lower shin. He was regularly checking in, and giving very helpful pointers. Even the regulars are friendly, and the overall vibe I got from this business was that axe throwing was a friendly and welcoming community. I never felt judged by anyone in there, only guided. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even during the frustrating parts. I wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars”

“This cold plunge and sauna place is awesome. I had never done a real cold plunge till I came to The Cold Plunge co in Auckland. Prior to coming here I was not able to do really cold baths. Here the new owner Njord was such a kind and cool guy he made me feel really comfortable with getting into it. I had bought the intro pack which was an amazing deal at $75 for 2 week unlimited use:.: insanely good value. During my time I got to meet some really like minded people of all ages and connected with them too in the 95deg wood fired sauna.. they know how to get it hot! If you want to get the job done with your cold plunges and saunas with your contrast therapy at great value then go here! I don’t give 5 stars usually for personal reasons but man, I gave them 5 stars. Keep up the good work! Love it!”

A sunny spot listening to the Tui each morning. Our only tip would be, be aware of all steps as it is a climb if you struggle with going up and down. Thank you for an amazing stay.”

“The building of our holiday was very enjoyable and was enhanced by Danielle's knowledge and experience. “Such an amazing walk to get here. The view is amazing on a good day! If it’s cold or windy, definitely take a jacket as it gets super cold up here. You can also get out of the southerly if you pop behind the shed at the top. Definitely recommend the hike to the top. Steep, exposed and rocky though!”
