“Lovely little hidden gem, stunnung tracks set amongst tranquil, native bush, not far from christchurch. walks with good options for just a leisurely easy walk to a more adventurous 2hr hike. We did the loop track, which is about 50 minutes but we took our time and took in the scenery so were out there for awhile, pretty moderate. Very beautiful.”
“Go at night it is the amazing entrance to Christchurch botanical gardens. If you come during the sunny hours the water fountain will sparkle in all the different colours of the rainbow. Unfortunately no one throws money in there so no extra income for me. Water pressure also not strong enough to take a coherent shower and I got soap in my eye.”
“Visited on a weekday morning. Very tranquil and peaceful. Immaculate gardens with a stream flowing through.”
“Just had delivered three plants I had ordered. A very quick delivery wonderfully packed and the plants in tiptop order. THANKYOU to you all.”
“Really well set up and modern rooms”
“Great location, lot of things to play on for all age groups”
“This is a camping site for all vehicles, close to the Rugby club, maintained by the local domain. Te Kauwhata is only about an hour drive from Auckland airport. A 5 dollar donation is requested for, quite justifiable, as the area has toilets, sink and a dumping station besides a cafe. Though the area for camping is marked, vehicles were seen in parking lots other than member lots. Tents were also seen.”
“Absolutely nice location and good customer service to get your coffee”
“Great spot for an overnight spot, toilets are were clean. Not very big so make sure you get in early in the busy periods.”
“The children's playground I'd fabulous and offers children a safe place to play and exercise. There is a closed off area for smaller children to safely play.”
“It's a domain, so prep for that and you'll have an awesome time! We went for a Speedway event, was fantastic and we'll worth it. The seperate grassy area is great for sports, relaxing etc. Rubbish bins around which is great. Tennis court is free & open for the public to use.”
“Nice open spots, toilet facility only. Close to the water with boat or ski ramp.”
“A magical place! I climb up carrying my toddler in my hiking carrier. There are quite a few steps but it's not difficult. Hour round trip with a snack and a break to soak in the 360 view up the top. Well worth it. 30 mins drive from central Hamilton. Will return again soon ❤️”

“Every time I visit, I feel like a great city.”
“Lovely farm which is well maintained, animals are all very healthy, friendly staff, overall very good experience and would recommend to all ages ☺️☺️”
“The staff and food were amazing, with a beautiful garden setting. They accommodated 24 of us at short notice and nothing was a problem. I would highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.”
“The Tudor Garden has a lot going on with its statues, poles and buildings. The garden itself is also a work of art.”
“Superb service and value, fantastic quality flowers. Recommended!”
“Great to see so many roses on display ,,the gardeners and the people who look after the park need to be complimented on the job they do,,,,, well done workers”
“Epworth camp swimming pool and water heater”
“We stayed in the stall excellent place to stay, very welcoming helpful owners. The room was beautiful, comfortable and private. They have a spa pool and Sauna but didn't have time to use. Will definitely be returning thanks so much . Some views from property early this morning”
“Great place. Had so much fun with the Grandkids ❤️. They loved the park the digger the fountain. Only problem was finding parking. Even our Airforce showed up and gave us a great display with the Black Falcons.”
“A great reserve to wonder around. It has a loop track that is around 1.7ish kms around. The track is popular with dog walkers - most are responsible but watch out for dogs off leash who can't be controlled by some terrible owners. And don't believe what people say about the avocado trees - they don't exist so don't bother about driving out here to grab some - it'd be a wasted trip.”
“Beautifully maintained historic site with fantastic gardens. The lovely guide (Judy, I believe) was so knowledgeable and passionate about the topics of the presentation. She added another layer of perfection to an already magnificent experience.”
“Beautiful place to visit over a sunny weekend with great food trucks options (coffee, burgers, icecream), grass area, beach access and public toilets.”
“Loved it! Great neat activity play area.”
“We've been here multiple times this past year, including for my birthday, and they've always delivered yummy food and great service. I will say that the last time we went, there was a large group and they were quite delayed in serving our drinks & dessert cocktail, but this was a one off, and I still think of Fox's as one of the best places to grab a bite. Their menu is quite inventive - both the drinks & the food - and their weekly specials make them even more enticing. You won't regret a meal here!”
“Napier Beach is without a question one of my favourite beaches in NZ. The dark grey sand/stone beach design and the fact that this place keeps getting more developed and utilised is actually great for the region. I visited recently, and had previously visited in 2016 and the changes were insane. Normally I would complain about tourism growth but I would much rather visit Napier than the Mount, as it fits my personality more. This is a beach and town that really requires a stay at a bach or hotel as there is plenty to see and explore along the coastline that I have not delved into yet.”
