Went to Spiga last night for our anniversary and had a fantastic, memorable experience. The service was lovely, the staff made us feel very looked after and congratulated us on our anniversary, the food was beautiful, and the restaurant was lovely with the afternoon sun coming through the doors. We had the burrata with foccacia, the seafood risotto, funghi pizza and tiramisu. They were all excellently well balanced, and the tiramisu was one of the best we've tried. The drinks were lovely, and the wait staff helped us select wine to go with our meal when we were having trouble deciding. Overall, a lovely evening, and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Nice dining environment and service however, Beef cheeks and mushroom tagliatelle tasted good but way too salty. Also very disappointed about my special black truffle dessert. The biscuits are not crunchy enough so very hard to bite! Not worth it!!!!

The Funghi pizza was the standout for our carbohydrate starved party. Service was friendly and professional although slightly slow on offering a refill of beverages. I found the space a little sterile and truth be told the general vibe was also a tad pretentious. Overall the food was good though and well priced. Inversely, The biggest negative for me was that the drinks were overpriced.

Two years ago, Spiga was the place where we had our first date. Now, as a married couple, we returned for lunch, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional service made it a truly special experience. Fungi Pizza was absolutely incredibleβhands down the best fungi pizza in Auckland! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the mushrooms were so fresh and flavorful. We were so impressed that we asked the staff where they sourced their mushrooms. They were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain everything in detail, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We canβt wait to come back and create more beautiful memories here.

A very nice neighbourhood restaurant in a nice setting with very professional service and staff. Pasta traditional but very well made. Especially liked the clam vongole. A few minor gripes - I get that people want to sit outside and the restaurant has an indoor outdoor flow but for those sitting inside during winter, I would like to be warm - 4 bits of foccacia for 8$ - pizza was a bit of a miss imo, felt the crust could be crispier and cooked a little more through. Definitely towards the $$$ end but the portion sizes were decent and it's a very nice setting (when its warm)

I wish I could give this 5* as the staff is beyond incredible and the ambience is just perfect. I respect smaller portions for higher prices if the food tastes amazing. We ordered Pane e burro which I expect will be butter and bread which it was. But 2 tiny pinkie size stripes of toasted bread with butter and 1 anchovie for $15. Basically 2 tiny bites. Mortadella in carozza is 1 slice of mortadella with taleggio, crumbed and cut in half - 2 bites for $15. I got the agnolottti with 2 kinds of meat and truffle ($40). The filling was more like a paste and all very very bland with no flavour of truffle, more like hazelnut. My partner got Nduja pizza which was ok for $38 (If I remember). Got Tiramisu and Buffalo curd..again were tiny tiny portions ($15 each). The Spiga Spritz was nice, strong ($21 each). We left more than $200 lighter but not very satisfied. I respect pasta is handmade and everything from scratch just was expecting bigger and hearty flavours.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Spiga restaurant, and I can confidently say that it was a truly exceptional dining experience. I visited with a group of six, and every single one of us was blown away by the quality of the food and presentation. We started off with a pizza to share, and it was delicious! Everyone at the table raved about how tasty it was and it was the perfect way to kick off our lunch. For my main dish, I ordered the Tagliatelle allo zafferano con ragΓΊ di guance di manzo e gremolata. This dish, which consisted of saffron tagliatelle with beef cheek ragout, lemon, and thyme, was absolutely exquisite. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the beef cheek ragout was incredibly tender and flavorful. The gremolata added a bright, fresh note to the dish, making it the perfect combination of savory and refreshing. All of the other dishes ordered by my companions were also exceptional. Every dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The service at Spiga was also top-notch. Our server was attentive and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend Spiga for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The quality of the food, presentation, and service are all truly exceptional, making it the perfect choice for a special occasion or a fancy night out. Oh and one last point, which is an important consideration for many which is cost. The Total bill was surprisingly really good value for money.

Solid across the board. Always a good sign when your keen to go twice in the same week. The dishes I had across entree, small dishes, pasta, pizza were all excellent, esp the prosciutto with deep fried pizza dough and the spaghetti vongole. The desserts werenβt bad but not quite at the same level as the rest of the food. The one cocktail I tried was just ok but the wines were excellent. Charming setting and good service.
