“I was shopping around looking for a bakery to do gluten free cakes for a future event and I came across a review for gluten free items at Frimley Bakery. WHAT? No way! I went there like 7 years ago and I could only get a $9 toastie (good but $9 in 2018). Today they have a whole shelf of GF items and there is savoury and sweet. I got a whole spice loaf for $7.50!!!! It is soft and yummmmmm!”

“We did a beer tasting and cider for the non beer drinkers. They are good on the gluten free drinks but I didn't eat. I was told the hot chips were pretty good. The others all got flights of beer, 5 beers form the tasting. I thoroughly enjoyed my cider and ginger beer but the alcoholic ginger beer unfortunately had gluten. We will be going back.”

“What a terrific Saturday afternoon. The sun is shining and shining bright on my new favourite little cafe on the harbour. The service was truly impeccable and certainly was welcoming. My dear friends and I were served by a lovely young lady Janaiyah who suggested the perfect meal to satisfy my taste buds. I am truly grateful for an incredible experience that I will reflect on with joy.”

So delicious & great value for money. Let alone eating inside the most beautiful building of Dunedin so much like some of the arty buildings in lower Manhattan New York city. Love this place & will become my regular cafe now”

Never been here before one of the best mouse traps I’ve ever eaten and I eat a few but a stunning gourmet pie (Corned Beef) and I hope when you visit it’s still only eight dollars unbelievable value. Was a neat tidy unit, heater was on when we got there which was nice......we were late with our arrival and they couldn't have been more understanding. Rural location, really quiet, no light coming into room at night and pet friendly!! Cutest receptionist ever, thank you Mr Darcy. Would happily go back and recommend.”
