   It's probably fair to say that in our month in NZ to date, we've eaten a fair few savoury scones. Don't get me wrong, we like savoury scones - but it was a pleasant surprise to find a few things at The Duck that were a little bit different! I had tomato escabeche, which was tasty and fresh, as was my wife's ruby salmon. Service was friendly and efficient, and the raspberry brownie we shared topped off the meal beautifully. To think we nearly passed it by as it's set back from the road a bit. And I bet their savoury scones are good too!

   What a terrific Saturday afternoon. The sun is shining and shining bright on my new favourite little cafe on the harbour. The service was truly impeccable and certainly was welcoming. My dear friends and I were served by a lovely young lady Janaiyah who suggested the perfect meal to satisfy my taste buds. I am truly grateful for an incredible experience that I will reflect on with joy.

   What a spot!!!!!! Cooked in the sun on the lounge for a good 1-2 hours, featuring some really good food- the egg shakshuka was delicious. Same with the cinny scrolls. No table service- had to go up and order, that’s the only reason for dropping the stars on the service. Maybe table service could boost sales as well- would have bought more drinks or snacks while soaking in the sun

   You can't go wrong with The Duck. Located in the stunning Macandrew Bay right above the water, this cafe is humming with positive vibes, great views, lovely staff and amazing food. We went for Brunch and had the eggs bene and were thoroughly impressed. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the stunning view across the harbour. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

   Amazingly delicious food, the atmosphere is so cozy as well. We ended up staying so long just enjoying our coffee and chat after eating. Definitely a lovely stop that’s a must.

   An excellent find for a Sunday morning breakfast! The eggs bene was absolutely delicious and the coffee terrific. A lovely deck overlooking the bay in a quiet spot, the staff lovely and welcoming.

   Ordered the Cheeseburger and Fries which was absolutely amazing! One of the best cheeseburgers I've had. There was a fairly large portion of fries that came with the burger which was awesome. I also ordered a strawberry milkshake which I was a bit disappointed with as it tasted like nesquick powder. I loved how the cafe was covered in plants, such a cute cosy vibe. I'd definitely stop by there again.
