It can be tricky to trust mechanics sometimes, as I knew I was getting charged for unnecessary repairs as part of WoFs at another well known spot on Thorndon Quay, but Plimmerton Motors provides an honest mechanic service in my experience. “Peter at power steering specialists did an amazing job on overhauling the P/S pump on our Mitsubishi Pajero which had failed on us. It was much cheaper than a new one from Mitsubishi (with several weeks wait for delivery and nearly 3k in parts only) and looks virtually brand new inside and out. It functions just as it should and even went so far as providing an inline filter. Super knowledgeable and professional guys, Cant recommend enough.”
