I took my dented beat up 1923 Triumph Motorcycle Fuel Tank complete with patched holes in the base to “The Surgery” hoping for repair and painting. What I got back “blew my mind”. The finished tank was restored and painted to perfection. Gareth’s attention to the detail in the preparation and painting is exceptional. John and his Team took a scrap item and restored it to better than new condition. The Surgery completed some underbody work and repairs on my car a few years back. Throughout the entire process I was kept constantly updated and in the loop with how the car was progressing, and had no doubts about whether work was being completed. This was a fantastic experience, and one that other workshops can learn from.
After the car was completed, a few years later (after finally getting the car painted & back on the road), I went in to bring up a few concerns I had with some small areas (which mostly stemmed from me being exceptionally picky and having very high expectations and standards).
With no hesitation, John said they would put any and all of my concerns right - and shook my hand - promising me he would ensure I walk away happy with the work that they have done, and that he will always remediate any concerns I have.
Fast forward a few weeks, they took the car in, remediated the small gremlins, and completely re-undersealed the car. With absolutely zero fuss, hesitancy, or issue.
John, and The Surgery as a whole look after their customers - and he refused to let me leave until I was completely happy. The level of professionalism, and pride in their work is next to none. I have never seen a workshop actually look after their clients like John & the entire team do. It was a breath of fresh air, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing any rust or metal repair work done.
You get what you pay for - and in the case of The Surgery, you get a workshop that stands behind everything they do, with an extremely passionate owner and team.
