   We rented a BMW R1250rt from South Pacific Motorcycles for a twin island tour. With that rental we got a suggested 22day itinerary which covered both islands and was absolutely superb. The bike was extremely well prepared with new tyres etc and never missed a beat the whole time. Kim, the services manager was excellent at communications and provided us with all the information we needed. We were collected from our hotel on the day of the hire and returned to our hotel on returning the bike. It really could not have gone better and I would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again when we return.

   It's was a pleasure to work with Kim and the team. They made the start and finish to my brother's and my motorcycle vacation absolutely wonderful. They represented the country of New Zealand well. Although we have check this activity off the proverbial "Bucket-List", they have made us consider returning to expound on the great experience. The bikes were modern, stylish and high performance with the proper comfort for our ages (61+). If you're plan is to rent motorcycles in New Zealand, then South Pacific Motorcycle Tours is the only sensible path for the highest probability of success (I didn't mention that we are Mechanical Engineers). Only recommendation versus strong recommendation. Thanks again Kim for the pickup and drop-off.

   Rented a bike for 11 days from SPMT . Was a beautiful new bike Belle ( Tiger 900) . Kim was an absolute delight , and was always answering my queries before arriving Christchurch. Kudos to her and her family members for their dedication for making my biking trip with my wife an amazing enjoyable trip. Will definitely come by to rent again in the future.

   A friend and I had the pleasure of renting two bikes from South Pacific Motorcycle Tours earlier this month. I have rented motorcycles all over the world and have never experienced such exceptional service and quality machinery. The owners of this family run business— Mike & Carole—are as friendly and helpful as any on the planet. The motorcycles were in superlative shape, and we had no difficulties in our nine days of riding the South Island of New Zealand. I can’t think of a better place to ride motorcycles anywhere on the planet! We were on an unguided tour with just the two of us, each on separate bikes. We had no knowledge of the South Island and greatly appreciated all the little details that were prearranged. The bikes’ GPS were programmed including great places for fuel and lunch, as well as our destination hotel each night. All lodging was arranged. All side trips including fly fishing and boat tours were organized and prepaid. They took all the pain out of traveling in a new country. I’ve never experienced this level service anywhere! My great thanks for a wonderful motorcycle vacation!

   One of New Zealand's award winning larger bike tour rental business. Owned by UK kiwis. Mike and Carol run a very professional business and have mostly BMW and High End quality machines for the experienced rider to tour NZ.
