   I was advised to take my Toyota Highlander to Peter by another mechanic. My Toyota Highlander had developed an odd noise when I turned right, and the initial mechanic could not find the cause. They recommended Peter and team at Power Steering Specialist due to their reputation in the area. He did several investigations into possible causes, and this was even before agreeing to attempt a repair. Peter was very upfront and transparent about his opinion of the issue and expectations of investigations. Despite Peter not initially thinking he had found the cause, the work he did to rule out the issue has fixed the noise. I have not heard the noise since I collected it over a week ago. I highly recommend Power Steering Specialist. Thanks Peter.

   I didn't went for service with them, when I had a repair query. They quoted the price for repair and price of spare part that required. I thought they were kidding, and spent additional $250 by going to Service Showroom.

   Great service. Diagnosed that it was the pump very quickly, booked it in and only took a day. Had a small unrelated issue with a bad plug after, but they were quick to get back to me to check. Running like a dream now, cheers fellas.

   Peter at power steering specialists did an amazing job on overhauling the P/S pump on our Mitsubishi Pajero which had failed on us. It was much cheaper than a new one from Mitsubishi (with several weeks wait for delivery and nearly 3k in parts only) and looks virtually brand new inside and out. It functions just as it should and even went so far as providing an inline filter. Super knowledgeable and professional guys, Cant recommend enough.

   I truly feared the worst for my car when I was told by another mechanic that I'd need the whole steering rack replaced, and quoted an enormous amount. We got a second opinion at Power Steering Specialists and they were incredibly quick to narrow down the problem to something much more minor, that absolutely saved my life and my poor wee honda - at such an unbeatable cost too. If you're in the market for a power steering specialist you NEED to get in touch with these lads. My steering is smooth as butter and the ol legend gets her life extended! Thanks so much guys. Cannot recommend them enough. The work was done incredibly quick, we were able to bring the car in the same morning we called and it was done within the next day or two. You can't find better service and skill anywhere else.

   I went to a reputable power steering shop close to my area to get some advice regarding noise and some shuddering on my steering. I told them that I just had my steering rack done 3 days ago. They checked the steering fluid in the reservoir and told me that I already damaged my steering system. They advised me to get my steering system overhauled by them for $800. When I asked him to feel for the shudder on the steering wheel, he declined and said that the steering fluid is enough evidence. The following day, I went to power steering specialist for a second opinion. There I met Peter. Despite his busy schedule, he asked me to come around the shop so he could have a look at my vehicle. He performed a quick but thorough initial assessment: checked the steering and also the fluid. He explained what was going on and he topped up more power steering fluid. He said that the issue may resolve on itself and that’s what exactly happened. He didn’t charge me anything. Very lovely person and accommodating. Highly highly recommended!
