“I went on 3 one-day pelagic birding trips with Wrybill during my last trip to NZ. Everything was perfect. Great staff on the boat. If you're into birds, photography and targeting endemic specialities, they are simply the best !”
“We did the Sip, Cycle, Soak (self-guided) package and it was honestly the highlight of our Hawke’s Bay trip! The day started with a fresh, delicious breakfast at The Bach Café, then we picked up our e-bikes. The team was so friendly and had everything ready to go. The ride itself was stunning—easy to navigate, with beautiful scenery the whole way and plenty of great spots to stop along the trail. We finished with a soak at Ocean Spa, which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of cycling. Such a fun, seamless experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!”
“Thank you Greg for such a wonderful afternoon. You are such a great guide. Peter and I had a great time visiting 4 wineries and drinking very tasty wines. We met wonderful people from around the world. I always find such encounters interesting because the first few minutes are usually pretty formal with hellos, where are you from... and after having a few glasses of wine, we are like old friends having wonderful chats, laughing and we could not stop chatting. The glue to a wonderful tour is definitely Greg. You made us feel extremely relaxed, comfortable and the wineries were fantastic. In conclusion, if you are thinking about going for a wine tour... JUST GO ! Grape Escape is highly rrecommended. Peter & Hong (Malaysia) 3rd December 12pm”
“Clarence was absolutely incredible! Group of 7 of us and Clarence was so involved and knowledgeable. So much fun! He got involved in our silly little games and was such a trooper with the group. Would highly recommend to anybody in the area!”
“Fun day. Bikes were excellent with baskets so you can easily carry water etc. lots of vineyards close by. If you buy wine in selected winery they will be picked and bring back to the bike station…a very nice touch.”
“An absolutely fantastic day This was a last minute booking as we arrived into Napier a day earlier than expected What a lucky result Don's knowledge is off the scale and his enthusiasm was infectious I have visited many wineries in the past but to be guided through the whole process was at a new level. His choices of wineries and his interaction throughout was something special Thanks Don for an education and a fabulous day with some lovely others guests. Highly recommend.”
“We had the best time on our wine tour with Frank! The tour was relaxing, scenic, informative, and tasty. Frank was a friendly and accommodating host. Don’t let this experience pass you by!”

“This tour was excellent. Ross was an amazing guide with a lot of information to share. We visited 4 totally different wineries and totally enjoyed the experiences and wine. I strongly recommend visitors to Napier take this tour. Ross has been in the area for a long time and is very knowledgeable about the are and particularly the local wines and wineries.”

“We had the best experience out on the farm with Dave and Keegan. We learnt so much about farm life from our amazing hosts. And the transport to the accommodation was an added bonus! If you are wanting a real taste of New Zealand this is a must-do. Thank you Dave and Keegan for a great time”
“Awesome place to visit... amazing creatures those gannets.”
“An in depth and very enjoyable experience with an interesting and well informed guide.”
“This tour is above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Don is a wonderful guide, sharing not only his endless knowledge of wine and wine making, but also his knowledge of the region and its fascinating history and culture. His own life and family history are woven into the wonderful stories he recounted. This is not a tour to just taste wines and move on to the next place. This is a tour of quality, to soak up knowledge and the beauty of the area. This is an exclusive, educational, beautiful and delicious tour. Thank you Don!”
“We used Dean to shuttle our guests home from our wedding in Havelock North. He was great to deal with, efficient on communications and got our guests home safely! Would definitely recommend!!”

“We did the guided walking tour around Napier’s art deco buildings run by a volunteer from the Art Deco Trust. You need to pre book your places on the tour. It was easy walking, went for about an hour and a half, they provide you with a head set so you can listen to your guide. Great stories, wonderful insights about the city, especially the earthquake history. I’d highly recommend the tour.”
“These guys were ultra helpful Of course they were knowledgeable, but when Mel was unsure about something, she took the time to ask Jo, and added extra gems Went on-line to book our Janet tour Thanks”
“An interesting and enjoyable way to explore Napier, especially if you have limited time available. We booked our excursion through the ship that we were cruising on, the tour operator picked us up near the ship's gangway, and returned us there with plenty of time to spare before our scheduled sailing time. The tour is operated by a father and son team, who also constructed the "train" which transports it's passengers around the Napier CBD and surrounding areas. The son drives the "locomotive" (a modified agricultural tractor), and provides commentary about the history of Napier, with an emphasis on the 1931 earthquake which largely destroyed the city, and the subsequent rebuilding effort, which resulted in most of the buildings being designed in the Art Deco style. His delivery style includes a great deal of dry humour.”
“As soon as I arrived, she treated me very warmly and was very willing to help me with what I was looking for. She took all her time twice I went. I brought a card so I could continue buying my tickets with Aleisha”
