Thanks to knowledgeable and patient Napier i-site worker Margy for helping us negotiate the diminishing options for bus travel for my UK visitor that sometimes involve going via Auckland!!! She persevered and found a direct route and very reasonable accommodation in Rotorua during the peak season close to everywhere.
We popped into the Napier's Isite centre and wow what a great service we received. Sandra was fabulous and gave us some hidden gems. Love Napier and love the hidden gems that only Sandra knows about!

Met Peter one of the visitor advisor. Very knowledgeable and gave excellent suggestion of ta mata peak on the way to Wellington. Would recommend heading to the visitor centre for all the best places to go in Hawkes bay
I'm happy to report that Peter at this isite center was simply amazing with the depth and breadth of info he shared. I now know, through his words and photographs, the devastation and geographical changes from the February 3, 1931 earthquake. Art Deco in the rebuilding is a lasting legacy. Peter also helped to map out what I think is a full day's itinerary! The isite staff are the best! Thank you!
Heaps of helpful info. Loved our day in Napier, highly recommend hiring an electric scooter and finding the ocean murals all around town. This one was my fav.
Napier is a fabulous place in newzealand, we can see there Black sand beach, some of shopping center for the essentials things, and spark free wifi spot is also there which is very good for the one who is fond of using internet, good place to explore, one must go to Napier for sure when to go to new zealand..

Needed postcards and they had an awesome selection. They seemed to have all sorts of brochures and gifts for tourists. That's a five star considering you get exactly what they're advertising. Attached pictures are just some of the postcards because I didn't get pictures of anything else sorry!
