   We did the Sip, Cycle, Soak (self-guided) package and it was honestly the highlight of our Hawke’s Bay trip! The day started with a fresh, delicious breakfast at The Bach Café, then we picked up our e-bikes. The team was so friendly and had everything ready to go. The ride itself was stunning—easy to navigate, with beautiful scenery the whole way and plenty of great spots to stop along the trail. We finished with a soak at Ocean Spa, which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of cycling. Such a fun, seamless experience. Would do it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

   Absolutely loved our bike ride to Crabby Farm Winery. The staff were very informative, friendly & helpful . Harry was awesome to deal with when we arrived to pick the bikes up . Stunning biking around the bay then through the wetlands . Highly recommend Takaro bike hire. Will be back one day to do it again . Thanks ☺️

   Bikes were well maintained and operated smoothly. Maps were clear and concise. The itinerary was a bit aggressive, but the owner picked us up after we got in over heads without hesitation so we could continue the journey. Cannot recommend highly enough!

   My husband and I rented E bikes for 2 days and had a wonderful experience with Tākaro Trails Cycle Tours, Hawke's Bay. First we rented bikes for an afternoon ride and Rylie recommended an easy 20 km route along the coastline which was perfect for us! The second day we rented E-bikes and did the Cape Coast Winery Ride: 16 km with several choices of wineries, and we had another great day! The E-bikes are excellent, top of the range bicycles, with panniers for your wine purchases! Tony, our driver/guide was wonderful! He transported us on a mini bus and picked us up at the end of our tour. Tony is pleasant, knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic about the regions’s history. We really appreciated the information he shared with us on the bus ride to and from our drop off points. We cannot say enough great things about Tākaro Trails Cycle Tours, except thank you for making our cycling days around Hawke’s Bay so memorable!

   Really enjoyed our 40km ebike cycle tour doing the Ahuriri Loop. The staff were very friendly and informative and help was offered for every circumstance. The ride was awesome and we saw places that a visitor would normally miss out on. The wineries were great, also with very friend and helpful staff. We enjoyed Mission Estate and Church Road Estate very much. We also had a very nice meal at Duke of Gloucester Hotel on our way to the wineries.
