“This was a wonderful experience to see such a great place for everyone to enjoy. We are from Hamilton and don't have anything remotely similar to this facility.”

“Napier Beach is without a question one of my favourite beaches in NZ. The dark grey sand/stone beach design and the fact that this place keeps getting more developed and utilised is actually great for the region. I visited recently, and had previously visited in 2016 and the changes were insane. Normally I would complain about tourism growth but I would much rather visit Napier than the Mount, as it fits my personality more. This is a beach and town that really requires a stay at a bach or hotel as there is plenty to see and explore along the coastline that I have not delved into yet.”

“Very friendly reception on entry, we booked in for the newly built cabin room. Only $60 a night, the cabin is brand new with big screen flat TV, fridge, kettle, toaster and portable fan. The room is not massive but you get space back on the front deck. The share toilets, bathroom and kitchen are all new and modern. The owners seem keen to make constant improvements. Would recommend to friends.”

“Great gym, great trainers, great atmosphere, heaps of space to cater to every different workout, great group fitness classes! The new extension is going to be amazing for the facility and can't wait for it to be finished.”

“Great short walk to waterfalls and really nice for a family outing. 20 mins walk to Te Ana Falls. Water is cold but It’s refreshing after hot summer walk. There’s another waterfall further up about 15 mins walk but be mindful that it’s only a look out and some of the track are about 500mm - 600mm you need to be extra careful especially when the ground is wet could be a little slippery.”

“It wasn’t busy when we visited. The giant colorful chairs make for a great photo spot, and the beach is just a short walk away. Offers beautiful all-round views of the water — and it seems like a popular fishing spot too.”

“Sealed road all the way to the campsite. Stunning place to relax along the Mohaka River. We stayed one night and woke up to amazing birdsong in the morning. The sound of water at night is peaceful too. Would definitely recommend if you're wanting a place to stay between Napier and Taupo.”

“The gardens were absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky enough to meet the lovely man who maintained them. He was so kind to take the time to answer all my questions about mass planting, what some of the plants were, what works, and what doesn't. He was extremely knowledgeable and took great pride in his work.”

“One of my favourite places. This place offers alot of variety. We have here the netball courts, soccer & rugby fields, hockey facility, athletics on the track, small stadium & running track around the complex. They is also a bike track for the kids.”

“Watching the children take part in the Mitre 10 Tough Kids Challenge and what a great venue. Plenty of seating in the grandstand and facilities were clean and tidy.”

“Very big Mitre 10, the name suggests. The Mitre 10 staff team also never fails to answer questions about their products well.”

“There's a Subway, a gym, public toilets, conference rooms, and a basketball court. It's always clean and lively. However, the parking around the back makes no sense. It's hard to figure out how to exit according to the arena's painted arrows.”

“Stayed here for 1 night in a 2 bedroom unit. Excellent place; clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable. Great location and the included breakfast was a bonus! Staff in the office were excellent - welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.”

“We stayed on the 5th floor in a twin double room. Rooms are clean and the view is delightful. We even found you can open the window when it’s not windy and enjoy the fresh air. Beds are comfy.”
