The aquarium was very nice but small. It took us less than an hour to see all the exhibits. There are frequent penguin and fish feedings throughout the day, which are fun to see.
Enjoyable and educational place to spend some time. We live out of town and make sure to visit every few years. We always enjoy ourselves. The staff are friendly. The facility is well maintained, with clear signage, good sized corridors, adequate toilets, a café and gift ship. The displays are clean and it is easy to see the occupants. This trip we particularly enjoyed seeing the kiwi and the penguins. We visited on a week day and it was not too busy.
Love this place! Some awesome specimens of fish. Got to watch the penguin feeding and later the big fish feeding. Great way to enjoy a few hours. They also have kiwis
My kids liked it so I give it 5 stars. Very nice aquarium for such a small town. Very good day spent with family and a nice different activity to do with your kids. The only thing that bothered me is how incredibly small the sea turtle aquarium is, it's really sad. I'm no turtle specialist but from what I saw during my visit I think she could do with something bigger even if she's alone in there.
A wonderful experience at the aquarium. My partner and I had a great time wandering through the aquarium seeing all the animals and reading their stories. We finished up with the penguin feeding experience. Our guide was Sam and it was obvious that she really cares for the penguins here. She knew them all by name and we had a great time learning all the penguin personalities while feeding them. I can't recommend it enough
This is such an AMAZING place. The animals were beautiful. I like the way you can go and come back again on the same day with one ticket.
My experience was really amazing! Welcoming staff and a nice variety of marine inhabitants. Try to visit it during feeding times to add more experience. Also don't forget to walk around the building to look at graffiti. The only thing is that maybe I would like to see a little bit more of the penguins' area and can't wait till they have sea horses back. But I definitely would like to come back and recommend this place to my friends.
A great little aquarium. Good displays, and information throughout. Plenty of fish to see as well as penquins. A good sized tunnel going through, with part of the walk way in which moves. Friendly staff. There is a gift shop too with a wide range of things to buy. Worth while experience and great to bring kids along.
