   It wasn’t busy when we visited. The giant colorful chairs make for a great photo spot, and the beach is just a short walk away. Offers beautiful all-round views of the water — and it seems like a popular fishing spot too.

   Nice, but busy spot. Freedom camped but the night was quite loud with people coming and going. People trashed the toilets.... So a nice spot but not one I'd hurry back to for freedom camping.

   This is a good place to relax after a long Drive. Great View of Napier Habour and Coast. Freedom Camping spots available with amenities close, but do not set a tent next to your Self-contained Vehicle for that Xtra person. $200 Fine I received, as I didn't know the Rules on Freedom Camping. Otherwise a good place to Go, even for Fishing .

   Lovely park area at the entrance to the Ahuriri Estuary. There is a beautiful beach here for swimming, public toilets, an old light house, plenty of parking and five large chairs in different colours for photo opportunities or to sit and enjoy the view. Nice spot to come for a walk or a bike ride or to just sit and watch the boats coming and going from the harbour.
