“A great place to stay. Had 1 BDRM unit. Very tidy, clean and well presented. Slept the night away. Beds very comfortable and loved the pillows - best sleep ever. Pool was fab. Booked for one night 2 adults 1 child and was able to have extra child free of charge but did not take up offer. Owner very helpful and easy to talk to. My husband enjoyed onversing with him. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely return.”

“Absolutely beautiful homestay to stay in. We arrived late but it was no problem as we were given the self check in instructions. Everything there that you could possibly need. Lovely having a TV in the room too. Comfortable bed, quiet & relaxing. Fully equipped kitchen made it so easy for us to have breakfast, which of course we brought with us. Would so recommend this homestay. And we will definitely come back x thank you so much”

“Paid NZ$ 147.61 for 1 night stay in Nov 2023 in Lisa's B & B after 18% discount from credit card. Booked through Agoda. 1. Stayed in a separate room from the main house. It was a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. 2. The room was clean, neat, tidy and very spacious. The bed was comfortable. 3. The air-con was powerful and cold. 4. The attached toilet and bathroom was clean and spacious too. The water pressure and drainage was good. They provided bath and face towels. 5. The wifi was stable. 6. Lisa was very polite and friendly. She is a great host. 7. They provided simple breakfast such as bread, cereal, yoghurt, jam, etc. 8. Car can be parked at the front porch area. 9. There are some eateries about 2-3 minutes’ drive away.”

“An amazing home base for exploring Napier! We stayed in the downstairs studio and loved it. Totally private from the rest of the house with a modern bathroom and cosy bedroom and sitting room. Set right next to the forested gully it’s a very peaceful place to stay. Very close to town and the Ahuriri side of the hill too. Highly recommend staying here as Kitty is a great host and the room is splendid”

“Chambourcin Cottage - what a wonderful place. So well located - nestled in it's own vineyard, and then surrounded by many other beautiful vineyards, as close as a walk or cycle away. Kim and Bruce were so welcoming, from the first email interaction, and were extremely generous with local knowledge of local vineyards and restaurants. The cottage itself is stylishly appointed, with no detail overlooked. The most beautiful accommodation on our North Island holiday. A real find!”

“What a great find! This short-notice 2-bedroom accommodation was perfect for the concert, so no need to arrange transport as was a walk across the road. The welcome gift of wine, cheese, and crackers was such a thoughtful touch. We absolutely loved the stylish and comfortable villa in a beautiful area, and it was also very clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed, even an air fryer. Having off-road parking for a couple of cars was so handy, and the location couldn't have been better for exploring Havelock North and the wineries.”

“We visited Bay Guesthouse with our good friends. The Captains House was perfect for 2 couples. The accommodation is superb with extremely well thought out extras and very high end amenities and furnishings. The place is simply stunning and was far beyond our expectations. The pictures do not so it justice. The views are magnificent. Armando and Marianne were wonderful hosts. Anticipating our every need. From appy’s on arrival to 2 amazing dinners on the terrace and yummy breakfasts— all was delicious With incredible attention to detail. We would love to have stayed longer. We will be back. I could not more highly recommend the Bay Guesthouse. We are discerning travellers and always book higher end accommodation. This is superb. You will not be disappointed.”

“We have stayed here multiple times now and we love it every time. We’ve stayed on a powered site in a tent, in the A frames, and this holiday we stayed in a one bedroom cottage. So much is provided for you and the facilities are wonderful. We love the hosts and their families, they are always so lovely and accommodating. There is plenty to do and the surroundings never disappoint. Plus their wood fired pizza and icecream are great too. This is one of our favourite places to come and rewind!”
