“Most amazing Cottage - Hosts left fresh baked bread, fresh eggs and everything we needed to cook. Rooms were beautifully appointed and fireplace well stacked. The fire toasted the room up quickly and I enjoyed the bathtubs. Close to good vineyards as well. Kids played happily in the large garden and then we all went for a walk down to the river. Tom suggested we bring the kids to his farm as we left so they could collect the eggs. Quite possibly the best rental cottage in NZ.”

“This place is so good. You'll have a full ensuite room in Steve's house and he'll make sure you have everything you need. The room is spacious and you'll find privacy here in Bay View, and Steve is around when you need him. Breakfast is toast and jam and a good coffee, and if you're lucky he'll make you his killer spaghetti bolognese!”

“I have stayed there with my husband on 3 separate occasions and enjoyed the Tranquillity and the views. It has been a pleasure to drive up and down the tree lined driveway - Park into a courtyard which has the entrance to your own 1st floor spacious apartment. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, the pheasant call woke us in the morning to beautiful Hawkes Bay weather. Then we packed the car to go trout fishing on the nearby rivers. A day of golf, then unfortunately we had to go home. Each trip being much of the same routine. The hosts always ensure your needs are satisfied, lovely couple.”

“Highly recommend Tiger House! Very peaceful & relaxing stay, quiet, with an expansive outlook from the kitchen window. The outdoor bath is a great spot & the pool would be awesome in summer. The outdoor fire makes it really cosy & its such a unique spot, feels very foreign! Nice Citta towels & bedding. Host Woody was very accomodating & communicative, left us breakfast provisions & fresh fruit & local coffee, much appreciated. Until next time!”

“Booked the 2 bedroom apartment and it was brilliant. Amazing value, awesome view, lovely spa bath, washer/drier, tv upstairs and downstairs. Was a bit noisy in the evening if you opened the door but it settled down in time for bed and was quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend, my only suggestion is adding a rubbish bin in the bathroom.”
